I've submitted my EAD Renewal last Feb.02, 2015 but until now, i haven't received any updates/notifications from USCIS yet

We're just back from a weeks Caribbean cruise and have been enjoying seven days of no internet connectivity. I've just checked our status and 'My Fingerprint Fee Was Received' - well, I never!

I'm glad to see there's been an approval while I was gone. It was just the one, right?

I think it was two. So jealous of you being in the Carribbean with the weather we have here right now. I thought you had gone quiet. Hope you had a good time.

You've seen Natonstan's posts right? He had a notice on USCIS saying about his service request, a service request he hadn't asked for. . So he is awaiting whatever letter they sent him out. Also we have found out that some cases are going to different field offices, but some are with the field office that they should be under. So if you get any correspondence in the future it will give you an insight into where your case is being dealt with, but don't hold your breath unless you decided to bring some scuba diving gear back with you from your cruise! Nice to have you back!!!!

The response is for an "Out of processing times" SR, which I haven't even been able to submit a SR because the Dallas office is still within processing times so it prevents me from doing so, I've always doubted that my file is at my local office, I've had Tier 1's saying "Oh they go to your local office" which obviously hasn't been the case so I'm basically just expecting the generic "further delay" letter however I'm hoping it has a field office address on there so I might be able to see where the hell my case is... of course it could also just have the NBC address on there.. I'll have to wait and hopefully it comes tomorrow

He wasn't the only one to get this notice, someone else did! He is awaiting post as we speak. Interestingly enough the ref number had the letters ending with DAL, so his case is at Dallas.

However, someone on here did an info pass at their local office, the same as mine Pittsburgh, but their reference number on correspondence ended in FL. When they did a receent info pass their case was indeed with the Florida office and not Pittsburgh. As for the letter for Natonstan they said they posted something out on the 11th so he should hopefully receive it tomorrow and we will all know more. Either it is a letter to welcome him or a letter to say there is further delay! We await with baited breath!

It's been 2 months since mine. Post/mail, doesn't come to our house as we live in a gated community, so my husband picks it up on his way home from work at the post office here on the complex. However, I am not expecting any thing for a few months. Funnily enough, they sent me the NPIW, but they didn't put it on their website that they had sent a letter out ... I was in England at the time visiting my son, so my husband told me over the web cam that a letter had arrived. I checked on the USCIS site, but no message to say they had posted a letter out to me. So that in mind, I wont be surprised if one day without warning I get a Welcome Letter to the USA. I am going to frame it!

I also haven't seen an update for the NPIW. Actually our congressman's office told us of the NPIW before we got it, as we had asked them to have a look into it.

My wife thinks we should ask again. I haven't actually been back to the UK since I arrived here, don't want to risk some officer not understanding what the EAD/AP is and rejecting me.

The only real problem I had was when I tried to check in online, as I didnt have a ESTA number, so when I got to Manchester airport I checked in on one of their computers, but I had to check in as a resident as that is the only thing it would accept. They do know what an AP card is, so please dont worry about that!

As for the NPIW, I'm sure you cant ask for either 6 months of the dated NPIW letter or you can ask if you local field office has passed it's expected processing time, but don't quote me on the later one, as I am not a 100 percent sure. I know someone on here will be able to tell you more. Ive only had my NPIW letter since December although I filed in August, so that took 4 months in itself. SMH!!

Trust me you'll be better off if you get an interview, you don't want to be stuck in our positions, but for what its worth we simply got the waiver letter because USCIS is backlogged.

My friend, you are scaring me. So to be extremely clear is everybody getting an interview waiver or a selected few for X reasons (help me understand X reasons). According to the timeline I am expecting an interview letter to come into the mail in the next month or so. Are my expectations correct or am I way off. Any advise is great. Thanks

I filed in July and got NPIW in November, so about the same time. Detroit Field Office has May 5, 2014 as of December 31, 2014 (last updated). Although I've heard people having their applications being sent to other field offices. One guy in California had his being processed in Detroit. *sigh*

Some people on here having been waiting nearly a year. One guy who should have been processed in Pittsburgh has his case at Florida which is a shame as Pittsburgh are working on July cases as of Dec 31. No rhyme or rhythm no point in enquiring either as you get absolutely no where!! Sorry wish I could be more positive but I can't its just a waiting game and no point to enquire until at least 6 months after the letter is received!! Just be prepared to either get a big surprise or to renew your EAD card, I think its 120 days before.

Oh it isn't your fault. I just wish things were easier. I wonder if there is a way to find out which field office has your case, or whether it is gathering dust at the NBC.
