My wife's EAD expires 06.16.15 when should we start thinking about renewing it? Is it three month before expiration? we sent everything in a large envelope for AOS but that was a huge stack of documents...

You can renew within 120 days before expiration date.

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Great info and thanks!! Natonstan it seems yours might indeed be at Dallas according to this, so if that is the cae you must be due for adjuication or would be if there wasn't such a big back log. Thanks for th ino Plato2000 it is SO appreciated!! Happy Valentines, hope you hear news shortly!

So we got to the field office. Very friendly lady requested infopass printout and my DL license. She admitted there was a backlog and k1 aos cases have been sent out to other Uscis field offices for adjudication. turns out my case is at the West Palm beach field office, just as the letter i got for my service inquiry had indicated.

K1 AOS are sent to your local field office if an interview is required or, you get registered as a permanent resident if your case is approved at the remote field office it . she said.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Thank you so much for your update. But I am confused now.

1. So now you sure that your case is in field offices not NBC. This field office is your local field office?

2. Why your case was sent to field office?

3. All the Potential interview wavier case have sent to other field offices?

The person did an info pass due to the length of wait, which was at his local field office Pittsburgh. However, his reference number that has been received indicated Florida and his case is being dealt with at the field office in Florida! Some cases will still be collecting dust at Missouri, the others ones will be at field offices, if you get any correspondence and you see letters at the end for example DAL, (dallas) Fl (florida), you will know where your case is, however if you are like me and receive no update, or no correspondence other than a waiver letter you will still be clueless. Hope that clarifies for you! :)

Woke up this morning to this email:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On February 13, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC**********2, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to
www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at
1-800-375-5283.

I was not sure if they are talking about the green card since they usually write we mailed you a welcome notice but I didn't request any other card. I had to call to make sure so that I don't get excited for nothing but tier one said it is my husbands green card!!!!!!!!!!!!

So finally the long wait is over thank god!!!!!!

Our PIWL is dated July 10th and we live in southern California but I know our case was transferred to Detroit Field office. :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

Thanks :)

I sent a case inquiry about a month ago and got a letter in the mail that said our case is being transferred to Detroit field office and to give them 30 days

Thanks, Well I think I will be sending in another inquiry request. I wonder if it is ok to do myself or to call and have a Tier 1 do it? Maybe I will be able to find our exactly where our application is. The last inquiry was answered on Jan 19th and it just said that there is a delay in processing and it was still in Lee Summit. Our NOA says it was received on April 1st but when I call it says that the fingerprint fee was accepted on April 5th. So I'm not really sure which date we should pay more attention too.

Great, I guess that's some more proof that they are indeed working on end of March cases now, meaning all us April filers are next!

Finally, right??? Im holding my breath now! lol
