Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case

Not sure why they would use MSC as a suffix. Odd...As the following post best demonstrates, the suffix can represent the location of the case (best illustrated when your suffix is not your geographical located field office) or simply an acknowledgement of where you live (where your case should or would have gone in better times) and it still actually enjoys the zip code 64081.

This is explained above. Your case is still in the process of developing the proud petina that our cases get after their long storage in the pleasant Missouri air. Wish I could be more encouraging, but I cannot. Been there, done that many times...I know longer get a headache from beating my head against a wall...It's always there anyway...

After your summary of prefix's and suffix's, I was curious to see what suffix would be on my NPIW letter, surprisingly enough to say none (not) but it does have a prefix of MSC, lucky, lucky me. LMAO!!

That's Great news!!! Holy cow, you can make me laugh though, even during a non comical situation!!

Wasn't that the funniest thing ever! Lucky I have a strong bladder! My husband was sat next to me and when I started laughing so loudly after reading it, he thought I had lost the plot!

I received a response from my service request only after my senator got involved. In the upper right hand corner it states that the response came from National Benefits Center, but the receipt# ended in HOU. Which I am assuming Houston Field Office. The response stated the same blah, blah, blah about a delay in processing cases.

The answer to our inquiry on 01/19/15 also said National Benefits Center in Lee Summit at the top . I"m tired of watching the "case status" 800 hundred times a day. lol

Hello fellow vj friends

I just got a case status change of New card being Produced, after an arduous wait sine my June 5th letter came. My question is.. I recently had to do a change of address bc I'm moving. I did it on feb 11 to be exact. And now the card says is being produced feb 19. Can anyone help me if they had this happen to them.. Would my card be delivered to my old address or new address??? I don't know how long they take to process an address change?

Thanks

Firstly congratulations! Only took them nearly a year. Secondly, not sure on the change of address thing, but I do know Otter who was on this forum in January, changed her address a few weeks before issuance and it still went to the old address. Sorry I can't be more informative but I'm sure if anyone has experience in this field on this thread they will be able to assist you a bit more. Can you access your mail at your old address?

Congrats!! You should call to try to verify which address they currently have on file to mail it too.

Thanks to all that responded!!! Well I tried calling but they couldn't help me they said that I had to go to an immigration office to find out as they don't have the addresses of the applicants over the phone. I've arranged with the postal office to forward my address to my new address on Saturday. So hopefully they will do it! I will have access until the 25th of February to my mail. What would happened if it goes to my old address and i can't get it??

Well I think the new residents would probably return it and if they don't and you can't gain access to it I would report it as missing, so they can reissue. I don't know their procedure of how they proceed, whether they do an investigation or just issue a new card, but I am sure that many people have had the same situation where their card's have gone to the wrong address or are lost.

CONGRATS guys...It's about time, nine days shy of 1 year from NOA...As postitive as it is for you, it is extremely discouraging for many who face as long or a longer wait. Even though the recent NYT article said they are working to try to bring this backlog down by this summer, the fact that they have hired no new officers with approval power makes this impossible to accomplish. Even though we know our case is now at a field office, it does not guaratee rapid approval...the problem is systemic to USCIS...

Your wait is over, that is fantastic...Call USCIS and tell them about your moving. USCIS cards and notices are generally not forwardable...Had the same problem with our I-129 petition...Took a while to get it...Good thing we had a lawyer, he got a copy immediately...Green cards however are different...

Congratulations!! That's awesome. :D If both addresses will go through the same post office, consider having your mail held so you can pick it up there. From what I've experienced, the USPS does not forward federal mail. Green cards may be different though.
