Just guess! I heard that 7 days before, the letter on June 5th was processed. and some letters on June 5th still waiting. So I want to guess how long it will take to finish the processing the letters on June 5th. Now already 7 days. hope you will get improved within these two days. If you receive the update please let us know.

I hear you... well hopefully they'll respond within the 6 month period that they predicted! I'll definitely post here if I have any news! My prayers to everyone ...patience (including myself) :)

It's not that long... I mean... what can anyone "process" in 9 months after all!?

I could have made 8/9ths of a baby! Though as a pregnant gay man, the green card would probably be the least of my worries.

Ha! I love it! Actually, I was thinking that it only took the Supreme Court 3 months to strike down DOMA. So striking down federal laws is a much quicker process :)

I remember we were in the same forum when applying for the K1. Glad to see everything went well!

Hello all! I was asked to post an update on this thread so here goes, we are Feb AOS filers and received the PIW sometime in June, and on Dec 2 we received texts that the Welcome Notice and GC are being mailed to us! Hope this brings some amount of relief to those still waiting and congrats to all for being together with their loved ones, especially during the holiday season!

Season Greetings VJ community,

Our Notice of Waiver letter is dated 25th September 2014.

Today I checked USCIS website and saw:

"On December 5, 2014, we updated your name for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status......"

Can this be hope they are looking to issue us the Green Card soon lol. They certainly have our file open! Fingers crossed for a positive outcome soon. :clock:
