expedite K1 by phone call is ok?

is there any one experienced here who has done expedite for K1?

my question is: is it ok to do expedite by calling USCIS?

or there is some other way to expedite? to call them and expedite is ok?

If you don't mind my asking, what's the reason why you want to expedite your case? They need a valid reason why you have to. Military active members usually do especially when they will transferred any time soon.

well ...they did not ask for ID number, just case number

You may get something in the mail from USCIS that asks for documents supporting your expedite request. I tried it due to emergent medical condition but was denied ultimately (not because I didn't have a valid expedite reason but because of my beneficiary's home country). I certainly hope they will do it for you!

Another VJer here told me long time ago how he expedited his I-129F for his fiancee and said that they asked his military ID and case number. Anyway, good luck!

First things first! You should NEVER copy military IDs! It's actually a security violation.

That being said, you never said what your reason for expedite. Just being in the military is not a vaild reason for expedite, you must either be PCSing or have an upcoming deployment.

First step is to call the military helpline to request the expedite, you'll need the usual information whenever calling the USCIS, case number, both names, , etc. to confirm you identity. Then just tell them your reason for expedite. I received an email notification later the same day, requesting supporting documentation be sent via fax. What I sent in was a cover letter, requesting the expedite and a brief summary of my reason, and my "Notice of Selection for Deployment" letter. I've read here that people have used letters from their Commanders, Unit Deployment Mangers, and/or orders as proof. Since I had my documents ready, I could fax it in soon after I got the email. I recieved the approval notificaiton the next day, think I just checked my status on-line
