Sorry to hear that but that's a very difficult decision to make. Think twice before making this decision because if you do what you are planing now and things gets better between you and him, then it will be harder to put things where they were at this point. Usually couple have problems especially if distancia is involved. So if in your mind you think that you want to be with him and work things out, then I woudn't do it. Just wait until he makes this decison if he doesn't stops the case then don't do it. Now you are making this decision because a lot feelings are going through your mind but when things calm down, believe you will think different. In my opinion, I would wait. Sorry if my opionion differs from everybody else. Hope you make the right decision.

thank you, im thinking right now, before doing anything,he hurted me a lot nd i have forgived him a lotof times , but we re human nd one day we explore i'm living th day tody

So me and my husband not doing good, we re having some troubles , i decided to cancel my visa until we find a solution to our issues , and until he become ready to have me in his real life!
It sucks because we made it this far but im not willing to attend my interview while i'm not happy and he doesnt care about my feeling at this moment and at this point, i feels like he hates me and he want me to make some serious decisions.
could i just not go to the interview ? or will this cause me problems?
Can someone give me the address to email the embassy? should i indicate the reasons why i want to apply for cancellation?
Will this cancellation cause me any problems in the future, maybe in case if we find solutions to our troubles and meet in person to communicate face to face and want to re-apply from the begining for IV, is there any possibilities to get approved ?
Is there any body went through this?
i'm the beneficiary
Can any one give me some advice on what to do? I'm very confused! Thanks in advance

If you think the issues are fixable, then instead of cancellation, I suggest you ask for future interview date, instead of outright cancellation.

IF you feel the issues are not fixable, then it makes more sense to cancel your visa application with the consulate.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

If you do pass the interviewm you would have 6 months before having to enter the USA. If that time passed by, then the VISA would be canceled.

Email the embassy and tell them you'd like to postpone the interview for couple of months. The Embassy will hold your petition there for one (1) year so mark you calendar - if you do not reschedule your interview within a year they will ship it back to NVC.

Email IVCasablanca@state.gov and put your Casablanca case number in the subject line alongside words REQUEST INTERVIEW POSTPONEMENT

Then in the body of the email provide your and petitioner info: full names and dates of birth. Also explain that you'd like to postpone your interview for a later time.

You don't have to be specific when you want the interview to be.

Good luck and I hope you sort this out with your husband.

nope and it is doubtful they would ask why. your goal is just to let them know you can not make your scheduled interview and that you will need to reschedule for a future date. you don't have the date that you would like today and can they let you know how to schedule a date when you are ready to do so. also ask how long you have to reschedule your interview, as in how long is your extension valid for.

I have read somewhere that you if you do pick a date to reschedule and cancel again, you may be subject to another fee, which is the reason to see if they can give you an extension and reschedule later

Maybe you can ask to re-schedule for a later date due to family matters

then see if you can speak together with a level head or get a trust-worthy

person to mediate what exactly is going on...never eat rice when its hot

she does not need to give a reason to postpone the interview. If she says it is because of "family matters" they may in the future ask what the problems were, don;t give them a reason to think there are problems with the relationship. Best just to ask to postpone because she cannot make it at that time. Keep it simple

Have you ever thought that maybe it's you and the relationship is just fine? You seem a little needy to me, I don't really understand people coming onto the internet talking about canceling a visa especially when it only benefits you. You should be the last person concerned about canceling it, if you don't want to go you don't have to.
