September 2013 AOS Filers !

Ok...I'm starting to get the USCIS blues again. A lot of the September filers I know of have already gotten their waiver letter or an interview. We are STILL sitting in limbo. Any advice out there?

Having received the potential interview waiver letter i can tell you it still feels like you are in limbo (technically we are at their mercy anyway). Just hang in there, our time will come.

Did you apply for AP? I got the combo card since november and the only issue i've had with it is being taken into the secondary inspection room when entering the country with it for no more than like 5 minutes :D and the fine people at ORD and PHX even let you use the citizens lanes when going through the POE, nothing too bad.

I wish you good luck, and above that, patience, lots of it.

Just want to share some happy news with you my fellow September adjusters... I got a job! So happy that suddenly getting a green card isn't as important now :-)

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.

Hey guys, just letting you know I filed on September 20th, 2013 and just received my acceptance letter for my conditional permanent residence card. It'll be here in 3 weeks. That's about 4 months I believe so it was pretty fast! Good luck to everyone else (assuming there's any Sept. filers without a GC yet).

That's great news. Enjoy your success. And yes, there are September filers w/o a green card yet. We're one of them.

Got an email today indicating my GC went into production, only a few weeks after getting the potential interview waiver letter, nothing too bad :)

Hopefully yours will come soon! I know the feeling of being at the mercy of USCIS too well and it's not something pleasant, just think after this you'll be free from them for two years ;)

It's frustrating seeing some December filers getting GC interviews, while we're still just waiting for an interview date.

USCIS seems to have no pattern for the madness. The big thing is just enjoying my wife being here. The rest will come with time. I guess if it comes to it, I'll have to apply for a visa for Canada so we can travel up there for a bit.

Just got a call from USCIS saying they needed to verify my address. Verified it and officer said she will approve my case and I should receive my card shortly!!!

Never got interview waiver letter or transfer notice. Guess my case must have been transferred since officer called from Baltimore number (my local office).

Hopefully the wait is almost over!!!

Coming up on 5 months since I filed for AOS.
