I had my interview yesterday and everything went ok. I will write a review as soon as I get my card. I had so much evidence but I gave the photos for him to see and a few other stuff. Basically he said he will approve us but he has to review our application again to see if he needs anything else. My husband said to relax and we are approved. I am like welllll why is the case status not updated ohmy.png

and not to keep with the suspense, he ask us the basic typical stuff.

BTW READ THIS and I will write a new topic about this. I put my maiden name into my last name (because I didn't have one) and the interviewer said this is not possible because it is a name change and I can do it only through court order and I said ok then lets keep the new last name and skip the middle one. So he also said we cannot change it so easily through naturalization too so court order , doesnt last long and it is wise to change the passport name too but my embassy is far away in CA so I thought meh when the passport expires then I will change it ^^

Congrats on getting the interview so quickly!! I'm sure everything will turn out fine. It gives me hope for other Septermber AOS filers. Cleveland is moving so slowly!! groan!!

Congrats on your interview, some users never had their status updated in relation to i-485 for years after they got GC. You'll be fine :-) btw mine is still in Acceptance as of 10th sept. :-)

Filed for AOS in September 2013, got the notice of potential interview waiver in second week of December, in the 3rd week of December my online status changed - letting me know that my green card application has been approved. Finally today received my green card.

I was preparing for the interview but luckily it did not happen. At least for the next year and a half me and my wife can now focus on other important things in life.


I got approved after all. The status said Card production and now On December 24, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Great Christmas gift biggrin.png YAY
