Just received our interview date for January 3rd. that's 27 days before our.2 year anniversary. Should we reschedule and hope for a date in February in order to get the 10 year card?

I could be wrong, (I am often according to my ex-wife,) but getting the AOS interview or green card interview 'before' your 2 year anniversary, (assuming you are approved,) will get you a 2 year conditional permanent residence, (green card.) After your 2 year anniversary gets you the 10 year card. From what I've read on the USCIS website, and this website, that's what I've seen. If you can reschedule, do it!!

Good luck!!

The ultimate frustration. Could the USPS be worse run than the USCIS?

Website says it left one facility and never arrived anywhere else.

Still scheduled for today but it's 10 pm and it's clearly not going to arrive.

All my carrier could tell me was that 2 day priority mail is not guaranteed.

What's the stinking point of calling it that then?

Wasting my tax dollars on this jacked up organization.

Privatize, raise rates, and do a good job! Could there be a more simple solution?

What a steaming hot pile horse manure!

My 2 day is looking like 5 day assuming they haven't lost it.....

I'm bitter.

I find it hilarious that they asked for 2 pictures for each form (I think it came to 8 passport style pictures total) and then they use the sweaty picture from a hot October day from the biometrics appointment for the ead /ap haha... I was clean-shaved that day but a weird shadow on my chin makes it look like I have a goatee.

Will try to reschedule the interview date tomorrow via phone

I totally agree! I mean why they just could not have 1 scan it and have it for all applications/cards.. But anyway, what do we know hey?

This will come with your regular post so if you did not get it by normal post delivery it should come on. Monday...fingers crossed!

Our wedding photographer send our pictures by Next Day delivery...we received it 2 weeks later...a package with a big bold red Next Day on it and a very obsolete posting date hehe

LOL

This made me laugh. I remember I did my hair and put on makeup when I got those 8 passport photos taken. But surprise, the picture on the EAD/AP is the one from the biometrics day, when I was actually running a fever, lol

I had this problem also with my EAD/AP card. Call USPS as soon as 5 days have elapsed. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with USPS about my EAD card. A very helpful person tried to locate it for me and gave me a reference number for the search. This was the useful site I found to get the phone number - http://gethuman.com/phone-number/USPS-US-Postal-Service/ It shows how to 'get a human' for loads of different companies. Certainly worked for me. Within a day of calling them, they had located my EAD/AP card and it was on it's journey again. It took 7 days in total to get to me. I told them what the envelope contained and how important it was.

Outstanding!!! I'm not far behind you as far as date filed goes, but I think I'll be waiting longer. Cleveland USCIS field office is not known for their haste.
