I want to fax off my Packet 3 Checklist, but my fiance still has to mail me some documents...

I heard that the vancouver consulate schedules QUICK interviews, like, within a week or two of receiving packet 4. I don't know what the interview scheduling process is like, but I'm getting itchy to send off my Packet 3 checklist, so I'm wondering if I can do so before I have all of the documents from my fiance?

There is nothing we really have to wait on, all she needs to do is overnight me the papers that I need. What is it like getting packet 4? Do I pick my own interview date? If i send off the checklist, will I Get railroaded into a date that is too early for me?

Any help would be great!

thanks!

Stephen

You schedule your interview. Packet 4 is just instructions on how to book your interview.

You're a beast. I was actually PM-ing you the same question, and you managed to beat me to the punch by actually responding to my query.

Thanks man, you are forever helpful.

I'm also like, worried about the financial evidence I have. Would you mind checking this out and giving me some insight?

Sorry for being like, ultra needy. I'm just nervous, and kind of neurotic by nature, and this is godamm scary. I love my fiancee, and want everything to go well :(

Your financial stuff looks good. For AOS you will need to get the past 2-3 years tax returns but it is not required for I-134, so the latest tax return from MIL is fine. They did not ask me about the I-134 during my interview and I was in a similar situation - husband had just started working part-time and my FIL co-sponsored me.

Don't worry about being stressy - I'm pretty sure all of us were nervous and neurotic prior to the interview. It's not as scary/hard as it seems though!
