Is Cindy Sheehan camping out in front of Barak Obama's house in Chicago?

The people that protested the war every day at the top of Church St. in Burlington when Bush was President...vanished after election day 2008. Hmmm

There used to be daily death counts on the front page of the local paper. They disappeared.

Could it be that they are not sincere? Could it be they have another agenda? I wonder.

FWIW I hate war and I am against Obama starting another one FOR NOTHING in Syria. As long as the Gas stays within Syria...who gives a sh*t? I mean WHO are the "good guys" anyway? And I was against the war in Iraq when Bush did that. We should have given arms to the Russians instead of the Afghans in the 80's and then we woul dnot have had to go back and finish the job fighting people armed with stuff we gave them! And now we do it again in Syria.

We need to stay out of that sh*t. Send an entourage to Canada to learn how to mind our own f*cking business.

If it is a violation of international law, then let the UN handle it...or not. Who cares?

I wrote my congressman stating I was totally opposed to any Syrian involvement.

I say until we apply humanitarian efforts at home we stay out of other countries.

I personally don't know anyone on the left that's for involvement in this conflict.

On the protest, those world wide protest in 2002-2003 really did nothing. We still went into Iraq...maybe that burned the protesters out? Who knows?

Good post.I don't ever recall a topic on VJ on which we all so universally agreed. Maybe the idiots in Washington will listen

Although I am sure one or two of our most ardent "deification of Obama club" members will come around

What is it with you and Penny?

It's getting weird, right?

You plainly said you are for bombing Syria

Are you working today? Posting off the clock ?

My husband is watching Star Trek. This is my only option.

Her husband is a Trekkie. She should quietly slip out the back door.

Not really. Unless watching the most recent movie is enough to make one a Trekkie. Then I suppose he is.

When I think of a Trekkie I think of those people who dress up and go to those Star Trek conventions..

I thought so too. But apparently it's defined as someone who watched a movie once when it was on tv.

Star Trek is way more interesting than a never-ending mind-numbing stream of liberal babble. Why don't you dress like a klingon, bring him a cold beer, and see if you can light a spark?

No need, though I appreciate your interest.

Pssst, you are here on a daily basis voluntarily responding to never-ending mind-numbing liberal babble. ;)

Uh yeah this is not exactly a liberal thread but nice try.

Interest? LOL It is not really my problem if your husband prefers star trek movies to time with you. I was just trying to make you go away. Epic fail on my part true but hey I either overestimated your value at home or underestimated his indifference to it. Either way it's my bad.

Sorry. Really.

who says a husband and wife have to spend 24 hours a day together?

but that is kind of silly for you to say that to Penny when you are spending time on VJ instead of spending time with your wife.. wacko.png

This is called "enabling" Penny. Try to get away. How long until you get your Unconditional Green Card?

No one is saying that. Penny needs to get away. While I am on VJ, Alla is NOT watching Star Trek. Big difference
