Can we apply a better letter to this? FWIW the Cyrillic alphabet has 44 letters, if it helps. One of my favorites...ж It is the letter "zh" Looks like a bug. Sounds like a bug "zhhhhhhhhhhh" Like an annoying buzz. Would be appropo, I think
