* An introductory letter with case number

* Visa Instructions via this link: http://canberra.usembassy.gov/consular/visas/iv/fiance.html . Also an attachment called "Applicant's Statement of Readiness to be Interviewed", example here: http://canberra.usembassy.gov/consular/visas/iv/DSL-1076.pdf

You will be asked to immediately return the following form to the embassy:

1. Form DS-230 part 1 application for immigrant visa and Alien Registration (Biographic Data Part 1) - http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/81807.pdf

Then the following must be collected and once received by the Embassy, your interview will be scheduled. This is a basic list. Other documents may be required depending on your personal circumstances:

1. Form DS-156 - http://evisaforms.state.gov/ this form must be completed and printed online. It cannot be saved. This is due to a personalised barcode that will be inserted into the document.

2. Form DS-156 (K), Nonimmigrant Fiance(e) Visa Application - http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/82063.pdf

3. Affidavit of support I-134 form (completed by petitioner) - http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-134.pdf

It took nearly a month for us to get packet 4 after sending in packet 3. You can see my timeline in my signature below. I had hoped for it much earlier as well. It felt like it took FOREVER. But we got our interview fairly quickly, so it made up for it somewhat.

Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback! It seems crazy that it feels like forever between packet 3 and 4 after waiting months for NOA2, but it's the final stretch, feels like it's dragging but still sooo close.

Got it today. Interview on the 24th

Thanks so much for the update, gives me hope we'll hear something soon! Good luck for the interview. smile.png
