Just came back from my interview. I want to write this now before I forget most of the details. We arrived at the office around 7:10 for our scheduled interview at 7:30 in Orlando. We had to wait for about 1:45 hours before being called into the office. Our office was really nice. I would say in her mid twenties. She had a pre-made list with questions in front of her and would go down the list. Questions included, where and when did you meet? Where we live? How long we have been living together? Do we know each other's parents? It was more like a conversation than an interview. She ended with asking all the yes/no question and asked for proof of documents with both of our names on it. Even though I sent all of that in, I gave her everything again. She also took our driver's licenses and made a copy of it. She seemed a little confused at times and would ask me the same question twice. We also have a big trip booked for this May and she took a copy of our itinerary for that trip. Then she said that's it. I asked her if we are approved and she said: You are about 90% approved but she has to double check our file beforehand. I am somewhat happy but won't be completely relieved until I know for sure.

I asked her if she wants my EAD card back and she said no. I thought it was strange considering I thought that they have to take it during the interview. I also realized that she did not explain the removal of conditions to us. Oh well, the waiting continues but at least that part is done.

Why would she if you weren't approved on the spot? Even then I'm not sure that they do that as what would you do until you got your green card?

Which date was wrong? Or did they send you a 10 year card by mistake?

It was actually worse....said I became resident January of 2013 and expired January 2015..LOL

Why would she if you weren't approved on the spot? Even then I'm not sure that they do that as what would you do until you got your green card?

Good luck with the rest of the process!

They DO take your EAD card when approved.

She took mine. Explained the ROC process and sent us on our way saying to expect green card in about 2 weeks
