Does anyone know the average wait after testing and interview update until we actually receive an interview date? Is it really highly dependent on the field office? I am in Orlando and it seems to be a slow and very busy field office. I hope I don't have to wait forever for an interview date.

Hi, Denglish30! We are in Florida too. Although not in the Orlando area.

Our timelines are very similar! But we still have not moved to the "Testing and Interview" stage yet.

Hi all!

I received my biometrics notice last Friday! Appointment is scheduled for October 22nd. I might try doing a walk-in.

After my I-765 proceeded to card ordered to production, reopened, ordered for production, reopened sage on Friday, this morning I received notification the EAD card was ordered for production. Let's hope it's not like last Friday and it flip flops back and forth between ordered and production :)

Fingers crossed. It's still very quick so I'm not complaining.

Do you guys know if the biometrics offices open on Fridays? Thanks!

ETA: I just answered my question! USCIS website says this for my office "This office provides services to the general public by appointment from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday."

Had my biometrics done today.fast and easy..

I was stressing a lot since uscis mixed up my mailing address with my street address and they had sent two of my noas and my biometrics notice to my house instead of my po box.I had to call them every day,did a change of address over the phone,eventhough I never changed my actual address...then they told me to wait 15days for them to accept the change and resend me the missimg mail but I was worried Id miss my appointment so finally I made them fax it to me and it turned out my appointment was a day away...thank God my husband was already off today..I hope there won't be any more confusion and things will go smooth and fast from now on...

09-10-13 (day 00) : AOS Package sent

09-12-13 (day 02) : Package delivered

09-17-13 (day 07) : Texts / emails received

09-23-13 (day 13) : Only one NOA hard copy received

10-07-13 (day 27) : NOA hard copy for I 485 received (NOA for I 130 still missing)

On October 15, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Wow that was fast. Is Orlando your local office? I did my biometrics in Orlando a while ago, my status changed to testing & interview 2 weeks ago but nothing has changed ever since. Did your status change as well?
