Also, I meant to ask, I did not sign up for electronic alerts. Will I be able to see if my case goes to Interview on the website? Or only people that sign up for e-mail notifications see the changes? I'm a little confused. Help, please?

Hi sunshinestate2013,

In order for you to get e-mail/text notifications you need to go to uscis website and create an account with them. Than add your MSC numbers to your profile and choose to receive e-mail/text notification on your status update. The messages that i received were from the website. Hopefully that makes sense.

Both of you, did you do the walk in in San Diego or Chula Vista? How did it go? (I think it was mentioned earlier in the thread, couldn't check from my phone). I'm expecting to get the appointment letter today or this week.

Edit: I see antvas went to Chula Vista in the afternoon, that was my plan too (easier to drive to than San Diego. We live in North San Diego county so an hour away from either).

You should definitely go in the afternoon. Probably around 2.45-3pm. Chula Vista is not that far from downtown San Diego so I think it is worth it to go there. They also have free parking :) compared to downtown.

As soon as i got the e-mail and text message i check my online uscis account and it says -"Testing and Interview" so the answer is Yes it will show.

Very helpful! I Would love to join this group! AOS delivered 9/26 @ 2:30pm. chicago lockbox. waiting on my noa1. Can someone explain the timeline thing, idk what to put. I filed I-130 in 2007 and it was approved. FINALLY (long story) sent in my 485, 765, and g-whateveritis and all supporting docs . lol. My attny prepared everything. Two questions.... #1 Is anyone else currently out of status? # Is anyone here been married for a long time and have kids? Ive been married 7 yrs and we have 4 beautiful kids last 2 are twin girls. =)

I received my hardcopies yesterday and my biometrics appointment letter (for October 21) today. Turns out the appointment is at a local office (San Marcos) and not Chula Vista or San Diego. I will go this afternoon to attempt a walk in. My wife and I are will be on our anniversary trip to New York in two weeks (Oct 17-21) so I will tell them that (I don't think it matters though). I just hope they let me go ahead and walk in :)
