How Many Bank Statements for I-134?

I have had two banks since meeting my fiance, and they were able to provide me with my years worth of statements. However, neither bank condensed my statements into a total of yearly deposits, so instead I have 1-2 pounds of bank statements from the year. My bank said two of the pages when combined will show my total yearly income, but that they aren't sure if immigration wants every single statement so to possibly send them all.

I considered sending a few standout statements (tax time, and then one statement per 3 months), plus providing a cover letting stating my yearly salary and total deposits as calculated from the bank statements.

Any ideas on the best thing to do when your bank has given you pounds of statements?

Maybe I am wrong here, but won't your W-2 show your yearly income. I too am gathering the same docs for our upcoming interview in Tokyo. So if multiple bank statements are needed, someone please let me know. Good Luck felow Ohioan.

Skip the bank statements for London. They don't care about that. If you have a tax return or an employment letter, that will do. I promise.

GO BUCKS!!! (Ohioans)....Hahaha. I am ready to head over to Cebu to see and stay with my honey Gina for next 6 months. I am taking every bit of financial paperwork I can and that will fit into my luggage to show them my finances. I have past 3 years tax returns, all statements from all my banks and financial institutions, and a picture of my piggy bank I broke open to get the last $12.39 cents out of there. We got our NAO2 on August 27th, now just going over there to get the MNL# and set up interviews and medicals for honey. Hope to have fun and I hope I brought all the required information they will want to look at. Is West Jefferson close to Dayton where me and honey will be living?? GO BUCKS!!!

yes, GO BUCKS. West Jefferson is about an hour east of Dayton. Enjoy your time in the Phils.. My Fiance' is filippino but lives in Japan. Kind of glad that we dont have to go thru the process in the Phils. Heard they make it more difficult than some other countries. Hopefully we wont have any issues in Tokyo. I just returned from 3 weeks in Japan with her. Hard to leave herand come back home, but when we know she will be here before too long , it makes it much easier. Will you work while you are in Phils? Wish I could go for 6 months. wow.

Ah Japan, and Tokyo. Loved it there too. I was in the US Navy from 1983-87, and stationed at and lived in Yokosuka, Japan for 3 years (even had a Japanese Fiancee while there, but never married her eventually). Spent many, many good times in Tokyo.... great, fun honorable people there. I also love the fun and friendly people of The Philippines too. I lived in Cebu from December until April of last year, and really enjoyed it except for the smog - burned my eyes and lungs when I went out jogging there! Haha. You get an interview date in Tokyo yet? Are you going to be with her for that, or fly to the USA with her?? You going to bring her to Ohio for the "harsh" Ohio Winter season?? Haha, guess it wont be too bad for her though, as she's probably used to it because I know it gets cold in Japan to. No plans to work in The Philippines, just relax, exercise, site-see, and be with honey Gina for her interviews and medicals and her flight back to Ohio in April when its hopefully warmed up around here. I enjoy the Philippine culture there, the scenery and sights, and the friendly Filipina people. I am a lucky man, and blessed by God. I was fortunate to retire early as a police officer, and now just live on a good pension. Keep us in mind in Ohio next April if we are only an hour apart. Gina said she would like to have some friends from The Philippines in Ohio there. Good luck to you, and GO BUCKS!!

No interview date yet. Still waiting to find out when the embassy gets our case from the NVC. I had not seen her since dec.and we figured we would not get NOA2 until November based on the avg processing times. So in May I bought a ticket and planned my 2 weeks in Aug that I just returned from. If I would have known we would get NOA2 that soon (76 days), I would have just made the trip in Oct,Nov or Dec. and possibly been able to attend the interview AND fly back here with her. So unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the interview now, and depending on work and $ , I may not be able to fly back with her either :(. The air fare just gets too expensive. She will be bringing her 11 yr old son and we still have to plan what to do with all of her things that we won't ship to USA, and then arrange shipping for the other. Thats another area I need to look into. A company that ships larger boxes via boat (cheaper) from Japan to US.

I know what you mean about the smog in the Phils. I spent some time in Manila and it is terrible there too. Most of my time was spent in Davao City where she is from. No smog and just beautiful there. I would never tire of eating fresh mangos everyday. And the people are very nice too. We will definitley have to meet once we all get settled here in Ohio. Take care
