My dear VISA journey friends. At long last, my green card has finally gotten approved. After calling an putting in an inquiry, they sent me an RFE. I received an RFE in the mail April 8th, ( dated March6th- yea right ). And on April 26th, my card was ordered for production.

FHA loan requires permanent residency.

You have a green card already and extension letter. You are just waiting for your 10 year/removal of conditions.

Got an RFE a month ago requesting more evidence. Any advice I am attaching a few more bills and stuff like that but my lawyer is not helping a lot any advice I have until May 29th to send all that. I am applying with a divorce waiver do they usually request a RFE and would this increase my chances of an actual interview.

Any advice would be helpful

I though that my evidence was solid at the time but it seems like USCIS does not agree

I mean I have student loans

sublease

helth insurance

credit cards

life insurance

the only problem that I see is that we were married for a year but that should be irrelevant as there is no time limit right?

we sent copies of the following covering time of marriage for our RFE. it was 500 pages :dancing: the attorney said we were overdoing it but i wanted to be safe :idea: thank God i did because we got approved 1 week later

bank statements

utility bills

car loans

lease before buying a house

mortgage statements

photos during different occasions

tax returns 2011, 2012

w-2s 2011, 2012

irs transcripts

health insurance

drivers licence

green card

Send in everything you can. you will be fine if it was a real marriage. Good luck! :dance:

PLEASE HELP ITS URGENT!

Hi Guys , Hope everyone is doing well and got positive results by now for their I 751 ,

This is the worst phase of my life and of course for my family ,to summarize a long short well my US spouse got arrested for DWI 3rd which is a felony about couple months ago and she won't be out till next 4 months although we have been trying hard to reduce the sentence.It has just been really tough past few weeks and we are trying to do our best,My question is I will be eligible file my citizenship this coming September like most of you,I have a clean record but i am still very worried if i can still file for n400 while she is still in Jail ,will her record make any difference in my N400 process.Any suggestions or feedback would be really appreciated.

You might want to try posting in here instead. This thread is for people removing conditions on permanent residency for their 10 year greencard.

10-05-10 - Married in California
06-13-11 - I-130 approved
10-13-11 - CASE COMPLETE!
12-02-11 - Interview - 221g due to a washed passport
12-17-11 - POE - YYC (preclearance in Canada)

2011 to 2013 - Life happened

06-26-13 - Divorce finalized

10-07-13 - I-751 divorce filer paperwork journey begins

07-03-14 - ROC interview - approval pending delayed background checks

07-25-14 - APPROVED! 10 year GC is finally in production!

08-01-14 - 10 year GC in hand. The journey has finally ended. :)

2014 to 2020 - Living paperwork-free and focused on me!

11-09-20 - N-400 filed online - welcome back VJ fam!

6-22-21 - Interview in Nashville, approved! And then...

6-22-21 - Pledge of Allegiance taken. Holy shirtballs I'm a US Citizen.

 

I've spent so many years in the loving arms of the USCIS, but now it's time to fledge. So long, my friends, may all your journeys also end on the doorstep of whatever you're searching for.
