Hello Fellow Visa Journey friends

I have been following this forum silently and finally the wait has paid off. Mine was a I-751 Divorce waiver .

NOA1: 09/16/2013

Biometrics: 10/02/2013

RFE: NO

Interview: NO

Approval: 03/07/2014.

I received the text and email and the website status has changed to Card Production Ordered.

I was paranoid of expecting a RFE as we did not have health insurance together and had no property together. I did not send any affidavits either. I wrote a 5 page detailed letter explaining my relationship and I think that is what did the trick.

To friends who are still waiting for an approval , I wish good luck and advice to be patient. USCIS is trying to finish the cases within 6 months but on my infopass I was told sometimes internal routing to different departments ,can delay the process.

I called them once 2 weeks ago, and once last week. They kept telling me they are treating petitions received on July 2nd. But I saw many people submitted after me has been approved. So I raised a service request online yesterday. And today morning, the approval email/text came this morning. At about 5pm, got another email saying;

Hey Guys,

I filed a petition I751 with a divorce waiver called today and they told me that my case was transfered to California I already had biometrcis and all that.

Is it complicated to get an approval with a waiver? I had some solid evidence I believe and I am just a little concern now

how long do you think it will take should I file a complain regarding the (over 6 months) timeline?

Anyways what do you think?

Hi All, we filed our I-751on 9/5/2013... after calling a couple of times, on April16 we raised a service request because we finally found a house and cannot close on our loan until the Green Card is in. Our service request reply was that "Still in processing... and sorry there is no timeframe available." I am freaking out. Is there any other course of action we can take to get this taken care of so we can close on our house? We have never had any trouble before this.

You don't need the green card to close on the house, you have the extension letter so your green card is valid.
