Right that's true! I need to stop obsessing. I think like you said the best thing is to not think about it. I'll admit I was more worried during the AOS, I was done with that in 3 months and thought it would be harder than ROC since we have way more evidence than we did back then :)

Just wanna update that I received my 10 years GC in the mail today. USCIS uses 2 day priority mail but I just got it due to 3 days holiday.

Wish all my September filers, who are still waiting, get approval very soon.

I believe once USPS picks it up it changes to 7 days from what I've read.

On January 22, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Finally it's over, hoping for approvals for the rest of those who are waiting, it shouldn't be long now!

Does anyone know when the USPS tracking number that I've seen mentioned in other months' threads comes into play?

This is what it says on the USCIS site right now:

"On January 21, 2014, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

When a tracking number is available (when USPS has it), your case status will update on the USCIS site and say something like this:

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on xxx. The USPS tracking number assigned is #DCN. You can use this number at <a href="https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?origTrackNum=#DCN" target="_blank">www.usps.com</a> to view updates to the delivery status of your mail. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

hey guys,

This may sound like a stupid question but, what time frame did you guys get your approvals. the reason i ask is because i live on the east coast and my case was transferred to CSC. So i check the USCIS website every morning for updates at about 9 am EST.

I really hope i get approved soon. this is stressful.

From reading other threads, we will probably receive an RFE and it will probably be for address. We lived in an apartment before this past May and when I added my wife to the lease, it was done electronically so there was nothing to print. The only other things that were submitted in the prior years wre the joint tax reruns, a copy of our daughter's birth certificate, a couple of joint credit cards, and print out showing my wife is the beneficiary of my 401k.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China

September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)

October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
