I received my NOA2 notice by text on July10th. I have yet to receive my hard copy, but the embassy in Algeria already has our file and we are ready to set up the interview. I called tier 2 and explained the situation on Monday. Today I received an e-mail that they are sending out another NOA2 to me and I should have within 2 weeks.

Hope you receive this as the NOA2 has the A# on it and it is one of those required documents that you need to make a copy of for the AOS. So you are okay right now in that the visa application is proceeding at the Consolute/Embassy, but you need to get a copy of that NOA2 before you can file for AOS. I hope it does arrive soon.

Good luck,

Dave

So... after calling USCIS for a month and two service requests down, they finally sent me the letter over the mail yesterday... Now I hope I get it! Ufff I am so tired of dealing with USCIS!

Would you, please, share a phone number that you put your service requests down? It has also been a month and a little since we got our electronic NOA2, but missing the hard copy. We are TSC transfers as well. Thank you in advance, Loran :)

I got approved on July 9th, but because of glitch found out about it on July 25th. I got NOA2 hardcopy on September 3rd even though I already had an appointment at consulate by then. Luckily Moscow doesn't require copy of NOA2 for interview so I didn't care about hardcopy very much, but its nice to have.

Good luck, guys! I expect to have my NVC case number here this week. NVC was moving to new offices, but I was told before they started packing up that my case had been received and pending processing after the move. I too have not received NOA2 hardcopy, and after talking to a tier 2 rep, after 4 hours of holding,

I was told that the tier 2 can issue only one request: he can either send my case to the consulate, or send me the hard copy, and I quote "so I can feel better". Not sure why they have such restrictions, or why USCIS would tell me this, but I chose door number 1. Anyway, within a week I received a notification from USCIS that my case was shipped to the visa center.

For those of you who have called USCIS before and when given an incident number and told a tier 2 rep would call you, I was told they do not do callbacks anymore. I suggest holding for a rep, no matter how long it takes, then ask where your case is, and if your approved petition can be sent to the consulate. Likely, this will change in another 6 months, but for now, it seems this is how they are doing things now.

Hello Alla & Justin!

I sent TSC an e-mail at tsc.ncsfollowup@dhs.gov , I also e-mailed SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov I called USCIS at 1 (800) 375-5283 do not select any language or press anything after you call and they will transfer you to a representative in shortly. Ask that rep to transfer you to a manager or Tier2. If it is a long wait arrange with the system for a call back and they will eventually call you back. Explain what your situation is, that you never received the original approval notice and that you need the service center to mail it to you. It is necessary, so do not let them go over you.

Good luck with everything and keep us posted if any changes occur.
