I filled out DS-260.

Now must I send to the NVC original documents or copies may be sent? Birth certificate, marriage certificate. Do I need to send the passport, too ? Or is a copy of it?

Oct. 21, 2013 = AOS Fee Bill received & Paid

Oct. 29, 2013 = IV Fee Bill received and Paid

Nov. 06, 2013 = AOS entered into system for review

Nov. 20, 2013 = DS-260 completed

Nov. 27, 2013 = IV documents entered into system for review

Dec. 02, 2013 = AOS Checklist received

Dec.10, 2013 = AOS Checklist Response entered into system for review

wasnt aware the forms have been switched bt we are filing it online anyway...pls my question is what happens to the civil documents that we sent earlier with the ds230... cos we sent both original and photocopies of the civil documents which is still with nvc.. somebody hellllllllllpppp pls... Hello, i have question. My husband filled DS-260 form by my lawyer. But this lawyer made a mistake. In my birth day palce he write my husband brithday. It is almost 1 month over to submit this form. Now i want to know how can i correct this information? someone pls help me i am getting very worried about this.

PermanentIR, in my post there is different opinions but all the time that I posted I said the same:

You and each family member immigrating with you must also submit to the NVC a photocopy of the original documents or certified copies of the documents.

SO Its not necessary to be original. But its necessary to be certified copies.
