How long does it regularly take to get NOA 1 text/email from USCIS?

We filed AOS on Aug 27th and we still haven't heard anything from USCIS. No msg/email NOA1 no nothing :(

It only took 3 days to receive an email NOA 1 when we filed I-129F. Does AOS take longer? Is this normal? how long does it take regularly?

In our case was 15 bussiness days.... be patient... sometimes it takes longer because they transfer the case to another center... ours was sent to the Missouri one (National Benefit Center)

We mailed ours on August 23rd, delivered on 26th. Received email and text notification on 29th and received paper NOA's in mail yesterday.

I assume it's totally random. I sent my application in on the 26th, and just received 4 email notifications from USCIS this morning with case numbers for the I485, I130, I131 & I765. My I485 was routed to the National Benefits Center. That's pretty fast, considering Monday was a public holiday.

Hope you hear from them soon.

09/04/2013 - Received USCIS confirmation emails and checks were cashed

Usually the noa1 for the gc application takes longer than the i129! People complain about all the time. Mine took 3 weeks!! Actually my biometrics app letter arrived first

It can take 30 days. Most of the time it is about a week. For our K1 it took like 2 weeks almost.

05-14-2012: Received Physical NOA1
08-09-2012: Received Physical NOA2

11-12-2012: Medical in Toronto, Ontario (Approved-Went Well! Tip: Make sure you have ALL of your vaccinations up to date when you go to your medical exam! It CAN delay things.
11-19-2012: Interview in Montreal (APPROVED!!)
11-21-2012: Received Passport and Visa Package Back From Montreal (DHL/LOOMIS OPENED OUR SEALED ENVELOPE! SENT BACK TO MONTREAL ON 11-23-2012 TO BE RESEALED)
12-04-2012: Recevied resealed Visa package from Montreal
12-23-2012: POE: Port Huron, Michigan (Everything Went Great!)
02-16-2013: Wedding Date! We're MARRIED!

07-29-2013: I-485 Ready for Interview to Be Scheduled!!! YAY!!!! (No EXTREMELY Long Wait!)

08-02-2013: Received Mail with Interview Date!

09-03-2013: Interview in Detroit, Michigan (APPROVED!)

09-04-2013: EAD/AP Approved! (Even though it no longer matters because GC was approved the day before)

09-09-2013: Green Card mailed out via USPS 2-Day Air

09-11-2013: Received 2 Year Conditional Green Card in the Mail

It took 7 days for us including weekends. Noa1 is usually expected within 30 days upon submission. You should be good!

hopefully everything is going to be ok...

we were September filers for fiancee one back in 2012, have been in the black hole, been thru so much. it took us 10 months to finally see each other. Never wanna experience that ever again! now here we are, September again, hope this time it will be a lucky month for us!

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'm in the same train , waiting for the Noa or check being cashed.. My AOS was delivered by Fedex early this week.

But i assume that i have to be patient and wait.. (Maybe pretend i'm not expecting to receive an email is the best thing to do)
