I was at a conference for work and I'd say 1 out of every 5 people walked in and left their BT on the WHOLE day!! Even answering it when it rang and talking on it DURING the workshop!

I have one, but don't use it.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

finally got a bluetooth.. .. augh prefer the other headset.. for some reason.. these things the bluetooths.. are made for people with big ears.. augh.. i have a small one... and the damn thing flops on my ear.. I think i will talk to verizon and complain. .I sent motorola a email.. askingif they had a adapter.. they simply said ... sorry no.. ..

might just keep with my regular headset.. as i only use it when i am at volleyballs tourneys or.. driving.. aughh..

The survey is phrased almost as though the thing stuck in your ear is a blue tooth. It's a Bluetooth headset.

I have a Bluetooth camera phone. I use Bluetooth as the cheap way to get pictures off the phone and onto my computer, since it avoids paying the cell phone company any fee for picture e-mail. I also use Bluetooth to transfer .mp3 files from iTunes to the phone, so I can use the songs as ring tones, again without paying the cell phone company a cent.

I also use a Bluetooth headset sometimes when I'm in the car, the same way I used to use my wired headset on my older (non-Bluetooth) phone. I don't typically wear it in public.

Interesting trivia: Bluetooth got its name from a tenth century king, Harald Bluetooth of Denmark and Norway. He was known for getting different tribes to talk to each other -- hence the name Bluetooth is appropriate for the modern wireless technology that gets different electronic devices to talk to each other.

Blue tooth is used for more than just wireless headsets.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I too use my bluetooth to transfer files between phone and computer, and sometimes from computer to computer. Those people that feel they need to constantly wear their headset to talk to other people, well, they worry me.

Aye.... I have a bluetooth mouse. Printers can also be Bluetooth, as well as keyboards and other such things. My Mom's computer that I built for her has an MSI motherboard with onboard Bluetooth. Also has a Bluetooth USB Key. I can use that to connect to her computer when it's here rather than plugging in another Cat5 cable.

As for the Bluetooth headsets.... I have a Razr. I have no choice. Can't get a wired headset for it. I can't stand bluetooth earpieces. Ergo, I have no "hands-free" for my phone.

1) You look like a damn Borg walking around with the side of your skull blinking bright blue.

2) You look like you're talking to yourself.

3) People always ask you "What?" when you aren't talking to them, because they are unaware of your super-geekhood. Probably because the blinking side of your cranium is turned the other way.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

That's so true. I hate that. I always feel like such an idiot. The person usually looks at me like, "You loser, I wasn't talking to you, I'm such a busy important person."
