Shooting and killing another human always gives gun worshipers i.e. GOP types such joy. It's so special. ;)

But if it's a fetus, hands off until that little b@stard climbs in my window! Then let me smoke his worthless @ss!

The irony is thick...

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

You should check out the image thread. It's hilarious.

A picture comparing Planned Parenthood to children being killed in Syria.

There's no logic around here.

Not always . I am pro-choice to a degree

However when a bad guy gets killed trying to do nasty things to innocent law abiding citizens , I shed no tears Guilty

The problem for me is twofold, one that it is summary justice, the bad guy may be committing crimes, but not ones for which ANY civilised society imposes a death sentence. It makes talking life a very casual act.

There are those on the right who believe somehow it's possible to kill 'bad' guys with impunity. The person pulling the trigger, is or is supposed to feel nothing about taking the life of someone who is engaged in criminal acts regardless of whether the act presents a credible threat to life. That shows a wonton disregard for concepts of humanity.

Sorry, killing is killing, take note of survivors from justifiable wars, let alone those that are now judged in hindsight as not justified. I do not trust anyone who thinks that it's right or proper to kill criminals just for engaging in criminal activity. I think we should always, quite rightly ,aim to arrest the criminal and subject them to criminal prosecution hence why civilised societies introduced professionals to engage in locating and holding criminals who we incidentally hold to be innocent until they have been proved guilty by the preponderance of evidence in a court of law

I know there are those who get some kind of vicarious pleasure from reading about these 'acts of justice' but I get none, it strikes me as both wrong and thuggish.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I don't see the right to defend one's self as execution or justice. I'm not going to cheerlead anyone's death.

Just came across this and figured I'd help out your cause Penny. +1 for you.

She's a reputation spammer. I won't + any of her posts because I am trying my damnedest to catch her in reputation points. I may invent an imaginary playmate to + all of my posts so I can catch her faster.
