It may speed up ur petition to write ur foreign addy and also is simply the most correct address to put as that is where u currently reside. Don't sweat the small stuff just write the truth and be honest in all you do. Hope that helps

My wife is an American Citizen living with me here in Montreal and we just started the same process. We specified the Canadian address on both forms as her main residence.

hope this helps.

i understand that my current address is my Canadian address but will it effect my Domicile with America or my ties to America in later stages?

You have to prove intent to re-establish domicile in the us. So keep an account open vote if you like and look for work. Dont worry too much about that as many ppl have applied from abroad still do DCF and get the visa without a problem.

specify your Canadian address because this is where you reside now (I`m assuming you`re a permanent resident of Canada).

As stated earlier, my wife and I have similar case as yours; and we just have some mail (from USCIS) delivered to her at our Canadian address.

at a later stage, once your I-130 is approved, you will need to submit an i-864 (affidavit of support). it is at that time that you need to specify your US address you intend to re-locate to.

hope this helps.
