How many pictures would be enough to show / prove evidence of engagement during the interview? I am thinking of bringing 20, but not sure if this is too much or just right. innocent.gif

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Your 20 pics would be enough and it will not hurt if you bring more... In my case, i was not asked for pictures although i brought many with me during my interview... Case to case... But 20 is enough i guess... I suggest bring different picture taken on different occasion and location... Write the date and place at the back too! :)

I didn't submit any with the 129F, She brought like 4 to interview they didn't even look at them she was approved before she sat down in a matter of speaking. I personally think I had a few red flags but I guess that wasn't the case. There is no set number, too many could be just as bad as too few depending on how you look at it. Good luck!

I front loaded the application with many pictures. At the interview she wasn't asked to provide any. The CO did hold up some of the ones I sent and ask questions about them.

I brought about 8 to 10 photos and placed them in a 5r photo album with description and date for each photo. ...it was just right for the 2 to 3 inches space on the crystal kind of window between you and the CO...the CO asked for our photos, so I gave him the small photo album, he looked at it and returned it to me.

My wife brought about 8 pictures, they looked at 4 and kept 2 . The pictures were of the two of us and a few group family pictures.

Don't over-kill (60 is over-kill ;) ), remember the CO only has about 3 minutes for the interview, most of what the decision will be based on is in your mirror every morning. Be confident, smile, look them in the eyes when you speak... if your relationship is real, all will be fine.

Bring as many photos as you want. It's the interview, don't hesitate to go a little overboard with document preparations. Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. If he asks for more proof, at least you have it. If he doesn't, then all ends well.

If you are not trying to commit visa fraud, 2-6 pics will be more than enough. As stated, they don't have enough time to go down memory lane with you. A couple of emails, maybe a page or two of chat logs... though mine took it, they didn't want to see anything except a coupla of pics, her engagement ring, and whether or not I was sending her money. That was about it.

We included wedding pictures in petition & yet pre-screener asked for a few more.

I visited my wife 6 times = my wife brought 8 pics from each visit = 48 pics. Didn't need all 48 but there was no harm in bringing to interview.

(Pre-screener asked for a few copies of emails, letters, chat logs & cards)

Can't guarantee every interview will be the same = Bring as many as you want. Just be sure you have enough representing a valid relationship.
