One of God's great two commandments was love each other as you love yourself.

But oddly enough so many Christians spends so much energy hating anyone who does not think like them.

Never understood how Christians try to convert people to Gods love by insulting them

Like the sidewalk preachers screaming at people going into the Braves game.Calling them hypocrites, telling them they are going to hell. Why not hand out water and give rides to the car, scream i love you instead of calling them names and insulting them

Problem with Christians today , it has turned into a hate fest.

They seem to be under the impression that atheists hate them or something.

I don't hate anybody for their religion. They believe in God, and that's great for them. I simply don't. There's no need to throw insults around because of that little fact.

I wish I did believe! I find the thought of Heaven pretty comforting. Unfortunately for me, I can't force myself into believing something that seems inaccurate to me. But I don't belittle those who think differently. All I ask is that their choice of religion not impact my life in any way.

i was referring to the charlton heston commandments. the og commandments, if you will.

To be fair as many Christians that drip vitriol there are just as many atheists that are just as rabid anti christian.
