Woooooo!! SUCH a relief! We received it 210 days after our NOA1 date, but truth be told-- I feel a little out of the loop now. I pretty much avoided this site for the past 6 months because I kept reading all of the "horror stories".

Not going to lie though, we're not sure what's next or how best to prepare for it. At the bottom of our NOA2 it says "Valid until 11/11". Does this mean we only have till November to attend the interview/medical examination etc?

If I could be pointed in the right direction (a thread or anything really) of where to go from here, my fiance and I would truly be thankful.

congrats on gettin approved!!! im kinda in the same boat as well now too......its been 2 months since we received our NOA2, and we havent sent in the next set of paperwork yet cuz we arent really sure how it all works.....im guessing the packet 3 gets sent and then do they make the medical appointment for my fiance or does he have to do it on his own?? and then once they receive that is that when they schedule the interview?? we have 2 more months till it says our NOA2 expires.... eeek!! HELP!!???

Woah, so my lady got off the phone with the NVC & the DoS today-- and apparently our case is a LOT further ahead than we thought! Our petition was among that weird bunch that got transferred from Vermont over to Texas.

When she called the NVC they probably thought we were dumb or something haha, because our package had already come and gone through the NVC and was sent off to the Consulate on August 13th..

But we only just received our NOA2 on September 3rd... (what the??)

Apparently they've already sent out packet 3 to us about 2 weeks ago, but neither of us have received anything in the mail. I'm wondering if Labor Day slowed down the process some?
