We just got our NOA2 the 17th!!! smile.png So approved in 31 days! Very surprised at how fast it went!

Fantastic news!!!!!!!!!! I was notified of the Alien Registration Number today which was nice considering I just put him and the kids back on a plane to Scotland an hour before the notification came. It's not an approval, but it's movement and I'll take what I can get today. I'm hoping soon as this 'bye for now' stuff is getting old in a hurry.

Yes, it is! My last trip for this year to Edinburgh is next month. I'm hoping to have approval before I head out on the 14th. I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm not holding my breath.

We've been lucky to be able to spend a great deal of time together. The only month we didn't see each other this year was July and most likely December. UK border officials don't like me much. ;)

I received the hard copy of the NOA2 in the mail yesterday. Nice official form. I like it :-)

I'm so pleased for you jgoodman! I'll be happy to see ours come. Keep us posted!!

I am really happy so many of us Sep filers are already approved. I did not expect that.

Now, what are you guy's doing for the next step? Calling NVC? What number are you calling?

Please share your strategies on how to move on as quickly as possible to the embassy interview.

Thanks

I haven't done much yet reguarding NVC. I filled out the I-134, got employment letter, and printed certificate of deposits, Original W2 for her, and my tax information for 2012/2011. She's scheduling the medical now in case there is any issue (also I may have to leave Israel in 7 days), as well as getting passport photo's. Normally medical is performed after packet 3 is delivered however, she has no means of transportation to Jerusalem (other side of the country) after I leave. Once it's at NVC we will start requesting the police certificate from Israel, and Philippines. Her mom is going to fedex the Birth Certificate, Certificate of Singleness, and NBI after NVC tells us they have received. Medical lasts 6 months so I'm hopeful it won't take that long to get to Israel.

The Jerusalem website has the packet 3 document however, they don't tell you the medical information. I ended up finding the correct doctors here. Just sharing in case someone else is in the same situation. You can choose the embassy and it will find the medical information required.

Hey everyone!

For the sake of clarity when you guys indicate how long it took to get your NO2 are you guys counting working days only or inclusive of weekends ?

Also are you counting the days date the package was sent or the date NOA 1 was recieved?

Thanks for your help!

Scratch that early medical exam, we needed the case number from what the consulate sends us. Would that be the same as the DS-160 prints out or is it different?

It was 32 calendar days from the NOA1 date.

I am going to call the NVCX at the end of this week to see if I can get my case number.

Good luck to all!

Keep us posted as to when yours arrives at NVC. I see CSC has an enormous delay in sending the files to NVC and I'm curious what TSC's time looks like. I noticed those who have posted Alien Registration Number updates were at about 18 days after NOA1 with NOA2 following approximately 14 days after. Tessyht was approved in I think 31 days, so this seems to hold true. We shall see. Fingers crossed that's the case for us and we get approval in the next couple of weeks.
