Hi Kath&Tom, I think as long as you have two recent pay stubs as well as last years tax returns, you will be fine. I changed jobs a month before my fiancé's interview and I was worried about having to change info on the forms. Instead, we just went ahead as if nothing had changed. They just accepted the pay stubs from my old job and she was approved. I would make sure the date on the I-134 is before your fiancé lost his job so that way when it was filled out the information was correct. The info that was filled out on the G-325 was accurate when it was filled out since that was a few months ago.

I think you will be ok but that is just from my own experiance.

Best of luck.

Hello... Thank you so much... But what about the letter head sir? You think they will look for that? I'm so worried...

You didn't already have the letter from the employer? Not sure what to say about that. Maybe he can speak with the HR people at the old company and they will be able to write a letter stating he was employed at an earlier date.. Not sure what else to recommend.

Best of luck!

Our interview is this coming Thursday morning in London. Fingers crossed all goes well. This morning we realized we forgot to have my fiancé's daughter's birth certificate translated from Danish to English. She is coming, but it's still required. Luckily, he is fluent in Danish so he did the translation. Hopefully, there's no issue with that. Our nerves are shot!

Annie arrived safely in the US on Sunday! No problems clearing immigration or changing planes in Newark. If her flight would have been 1-day earlier, she would have been stuck in Newark by herself. Funny how fate works. We had a great day today shopping at the mall and grocery store. Also went to Home depot to get a tropical indoor plant. It is a plant she is used to seeing in the Philippines. She is adjusting to the cold and today we may make a snow man. Life is good!

Hi September filers!

First of all, congrats to all who have received approvals, interviews dates, even visas for some of you!!

I'm wondering specifically about those with files at the TSC...my fiancé and I received our NOA1 on September 13th but haven't heard a peep since. I've been perusing some of these forums to try to get a sense of whether/when others with similar NOA1 dates, specifically at the TSC, have received their NOA2s.

If you fit into that category (NOA1 ~ early September 2013, TSC), I would be so grateful if you could share a bit about your experience or any useful intel you may have come by!

Thank you in advance for any insight you can offer!

You can look at our timeline in my signature. Our NOA2 came 33 days after NOA1 at TSC. I'm not sure what the difference in processing times would be for F1 vs K1.

Hey guys, it has been a while since we I've checked in here.

Congratulations to everyone who has received their K1's and are together at last and best wishes for those of us who are hanging in the process.

Our interview is in 3 weeks finally! There has been some delay for us a result of collection of documents and delay mailing service.

My fiancee has already started to wind up things back home and had to submit her resignation to her job.

It is all becoming so very real and we are so excited, our lives are changing and we look forward to forever.

We were wondering how long after your interview is the visa received normally?

Trusting the process goes smoothly hereon.

I'm pleased to hear you got your interview. The UK forum would probably be your best resource to answer that question. From what I can tell, it's a week or two average. My fiancé has his interview tomorrow morning and I can keep you posted on the delivery of his passport. His is going to Glasgow, so I'm not sure how much longer it will take.

We had our interview yesterday and were approved contigent on the passing of her medical exams she did the day before. It is in Administrative Processing as of today. We are very happy and can't wait for her to get the visa. We do have some time as she won't be able to come until April as she has to fill in for a girl at her job who coverered for her while she was out. Still, we are very anxious to get the visa in her hands fast. How long does Administrative Processing normally take in the visa process?
