11 weeks after my NOA2 was approved, It finally got to the NVC and I have a case number... so relieved...

21 Sep 2013 - Filed i-129F

27 Nov - NOA2 email received (63 days since NOA1)

30 Jan 2014 - NOA2 sent to NVC (64 agonizing days) P.S. Apparently VJ doesn't care about accurate timelines.

11 Feb - Got Case number

24 Feb - Packet 3 Received and Submitted

25 Feb - Packet 4 Received and Submitted

29 Apr - Medical (Dr Cheema)

01 May - Vancouver Consulate Interview - Approved!

06 May - Visa in hand!

06 June - Entered the USA!

14 June - Married!

Is there anyone from this thread that has already arrived in the US? Please keep updating us with your progress and how you are adjusting.

Not yet, but going to pick my fiancee around the 26th of February, then we will go see her parents and try to be back home first week of March

Good Day,

I really have a big problem right now. My Interview will be Feb. 27, 2014 and of a sudden a big problem come out. My fiance been cut in his job because of company problem and now of a sudden he has no work. What will I do? I'm very very upset. I don't know what to do. please help!!!

Oh no thats annoying! Can you re do the affadavit with a joint sponser added? Theres still time. So sorry u havethisstress. :-(

I know I felt so bad right now about this problem and we both can't sleep thinking why... Huhu. I don't really know about joint sponsor but they said Philippines don't allow....

Hi Kath&Tom, I think as long as you have two recent pay stubs as well as last years tax returns, you will be fine. I changed jobs a month before my fiancé's interview and I was worried about having to change info on the forms. Instead, we just went ahead as if nothing had changed. They just accepted the pay stubs from my old job and she was approved. I would make sure the date on the I-134 is before your fiancé lost his job so that way when it was filled out the information was correct. The info that was filled out on the G-325 was accurate when it was filled out since that was a few months ago.

I think you will be ok but that is just from my own experiance.
