I got my interview date today :)

It's Feb 25th which is a bit annoying because our petition expires Feb 22nd so he will have to send me a new notarized letter of intent to marry but oh well, so happy to finally have it scheduled :) My medical results were only logged last Friday so this seems to be quite quick for a London interview to be scheduled already.

Woo!

09/03/13 - NOA1

10/22/13 - NOA2

02/25/14 - Visa Interview - Approved!

04/08/14 - US Entry

06/05/14 - Wedding

70 minutes - I was there at 7.20, was given my ticket number (i902) at 7.47 and got my 'yes' at 8.55! My interview was supposed to be at 9.30 - so I'd recommend you get there as early as possible in the morning.

Also you should be able to take your mobile in now provided you don't use it at the windows. Security told me this and people were definitely taking them inside - apparently the rule changed today and electronics were no longer on the 'banned items' poster at the entrance. Email ahead to check if you want to be sure. I was annoyed because I'd already taken it to Gould's!!

Congratulations to all who have made it through the embassy interview. I think for most of us, if not all of us, that was what caused us the most concern and worry. It is sooooo great to have that behind us.

Cheers

Congrats to everyone who has gotten approved! 3 weeks from NOA2 approval we received our packet 3 email from Sydney. Hopefully it won't be long now for us to get the interview scheduled.
