You probably won't ever get anything from the embassy in Manila. You need to fill out your DS-160 and make sure you go in for your medical.

This will help you: http://visaconnection-philippines.com/#

To add on to my previous reply, it seems like the DOS isn't giving out interview information anymore. A few other people have called and gotten the same response. I guess you'll have to wait for your letter.

Something happened to me too, i called DOS on Jan 24 and the ladie that I spoke told me that the consular sent a letter to my fiancee on Jan 23, i asked her if it was the Packet 4 and she said that she can not see in the system what it is, so an hour later i called back to DOS so the man that answered told me that i havent any updated so I told him somebody told me an hour ago that they sent a letter to my fiancee and he said i dont see nothing abiut that... so now i sent an email to the embassy... let's see what they gonna tell me...

So now when u call DOS the first thing they asked u is what kind of visa u have? If u said K1 visa they tell you that u have to call NVC for that... so when u call NVC they will tell you that they dont have your case and you have to call ur embassy....

She finished the interview this morning and had a very stressful day. However, they were really nice to her and asked a few questions and took a few documents I had prepared already. One thing to note. They will not take an Israel police clearance from you, in any case. It has to be mailed from the police station to the embassy. Even if someone tells you something else. We lucked out as I made her go back and request another sent to the embassy as the first was sent to her.

Anyway, Interview is done and they said 3-4 weeks which seems a bit longer than usual. Is there a way to check if it's approved online?

If you go to CEAC and type in your case number it will show you when it is issued. You may see it bounce back and forth between "Ready" and "Administrative Processing" first, that's normal. Congrats!

Thank you! I was trying that website however, since I was tunneled in on my work computer it kept giving me errors. Once off the VPN tunnel it showed No Status. Hmmm. Just wait a few days as I'm in no hurry. However, they told her 3-4 weeks...does that seem right?

Congratulations to everyone having interviews scheduled and passed and flights being booked!! It's so exciting. Never thought September filers would go through this process so quickly compared to wait times earlier last year.

I had my medical exam 2 days ago and I'm waiting for the results to be logged. When the CEAC website updates with those, I will probably call a week or two from then and hopefully have my interview date!

I want to echo what PalmTrees said. When I started this thread, I thought if anyone was through the proces before Feb/ March it would be a miracle. If we had done things a little differently, Annie would already be here with me. I hope you all get through the process and are with your loved ones soon.

Cheers,

Jon

CEAC just updated us to Issued this morning, although the embassy hasn't emailed Michelle to actually pickup her passport yet. We're planning on her being here the first week of March, which will be just under a year from the last time we were together. This is far beyond the best-case scenario I expected when we filed. I guess the gov't shutdown in Oct really helped free up time for them to push everyone's cases through.
