Michelle had her visa earlier today and we are approved....ish. Everything went pretty well, although she said the guy really grilled her during the interveiw and got her upset. He asked her questions for almost half an hour, but she passed. The only issue is that she didn't have the original copy of her NBI, only a xerox. She says she saw them stamp "approved" on the paperwork they kept, but they also gave her a refusal notice for lack of documents. CEAC shows us in AP.

As soon as she brings in the NBI, we should be good to go. It was supposed to arrive yesterday (stupid Kuwaiti postal system...). So, not still holding my breath, but not quite giving the sigh of relief yet, either. Frustratingly close to being done with this!

We are in the same boat. Annie's interview was on Jan 16. We get the same message. Doing some research it seems contacting the embassy directly may be the best source of updated info.

she just got an email from the embassy with a list of things to bring with her , but no interview day, when she called it says she can come when ever she collects all the things on the list and just go there,

Dear Applicant , case # .......................

You are invited to the Embassy for your interview.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR INTERVIEW:

1. Please pass through the main entrance of the Embassy, where a security guard will direct you to the Consular section.

2. Please wait in the larger waiting room until you are invited for interview.

Of course. My fiancee had her interview this morning and was put into AP because one document that was supposed to arrive yesterday didn't show up. She got back to her apartment, and the form had just arrived while she was out! You're fortunate to have the time to get all your paperwork together without rushing to meet a deadline. Best of luck!
