I got my case number from NVC on 18th, but it hasn't been shipped to the consulate yet. Why is taking so long?

You are from Dominican right? ? WEll u sould call them, if I see that happen to me I will call them, because i saw others timeline and they have shipped to DR in two or three days... good luck.

May 1 -Received appointment letter for May 19th, in Philly, PA

May 19 - Successfully Biometrics appointment done

May 29 - EAD and AP status online changed to "Card/Document Production" (EAD) and "Post decision activity" (AP)

June 3 - EAD sent out for delivery

August 2 - Interview Waiver Letter received in mail dated 7/29

Feb 12, 2015 - EAD/AP renewal mailed

Feb 19, 2015 - Got 7 text & 7 emails notification - case received (EAD)

GREEN CARD IN PRODUCTION/CASE APPROVED APRIL 15, 2015

April 8th, 2015 - EAD renewal approved

April 16th, 2015 - EAD mailed

April 18th, 2015 - EAD received

April 20, 2015 - Welcome to America letter received

HELLLOOOOO everyone ..... ) Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!

just got a latter from United States Department of State National Visa Center it says

The NVC received your fiance's approved I-129F petition from US. USCIS . The NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in YEREVAN. They will contact her when they r ready to process her petition.

in the meantime, please have your fiance visit "ceac.state.gov and complete Form DS-160 to apply for a K visa.

Nothing for us to do but sit around and wait, which is frustrating but not at all surprising at this point...anyway, best of luck to everybody with interviews that are sure to be coming up soon!

I know the feeling my case has been "In Transit" for a couple of weeks. I have faith that after the new year we will get our interview date. :)

Do you have your MNL number? If so dont wait for the packet.. set your appoitnment online as of now no available dates.. but you can pay already to bpi and set an appointment..

I know it says Philippines on my profile, but Michelle works overseas in Kuwait and she's going to process through there. She's got to wait until they've received her paperwork before she can call to schedule an interview, they don't accept online appointments at that embassy.

The good news is that, as of 5 minutes ago, CEAC updated us as READY! We're good to go now for her medical and the DS-160 and the next round of hurry up and wait nonsense. So wonderful to feel like the end is in sight!

The travel.gov site says;

"If an applicant is illiterate or unable to complete the application, the applicant must be assisted by a third party. The third party must be identified on the “Sign and Submit” page of the application. While the third party can assist the applicant in completing the application, he or she must instruct the applicant on how to endorse the application on his or her own behalf by clicking the “Sign Application” button."

21 Sep 2013 - Filed i-129F

27 Nov - NOA2 email received (63 days since NOA1)

30 Jan 2014 - NOA2 sent to NVC (64 agonizing days) P.S. Apparently VJ doesn't care about accurate timelines.

11 Feb - Got Case number

24 Feb - Packet 3 Received and Submitted

25 Feb - Packet 4 Received and Submitted

29 Apr - Medical (Dr Cheema)

01 May - Vancouver Consulate Interview - Approved!

06 May - Visa in hand!
