Maybe they (DOS) gonna tell me that i have to call to uscis, and i did call uscis and they told me that they sent it, and i know that the mailman put it in the wrong one and nobody sent it back, so they told me that i have to fill out the form I-824 and this costs $405 and that's not my fault .... i am stress thinking about it, and when i call to nvc or dos they asked me about my noa2 :( God i was waiting for this 9 long years because we are a same sex couple...

Oh, no! I'm so sorry you're going through this added stress at an already stressful time. I suppose you can do what you need to do for now if you've got your case number, but you've got to have that form for AOS. Do the I-824 ASAP. I know it's an added and unexpected expense, but you've got to have it. I wish you all the best. It'll work out.

Maria had her interview today, December 23rd. She was approved, pending her criminal background check being sent to the embassy in Moscow. I can't think of a better Christmas present. I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me during this crazy and confusing process. For everyone who is still waiting, keep your chin up and keep positive. Sometimes the best thing you can do is give it one more day. Don't lose hope. Good luck to you all.

We got our interview date of February 4th yesterday. It is exciting but also crazy how fast this process is moving. I will have go get my support stuff done when I get back home on January 5th from Brazil. We don't have much time but will be great to be with her soon. I haven't started the i134 information yet.

I got my case number from NVC on 18th, but it hasn't been shipped to the consulate yet. Why is taking so long?

AOS from K1

April 15, 2014 - Mailed AOS package: I-485, I-765, I-131

April 18 - Package delivered

April 22 - 3 Texts&emails notification for Receipt Notice

April 26 - Hard copy of NOA for I-485, I-765, I-131

May 1 -Received appointment letter for May 19th, in Philly, PA

May 19 - Successfully Biometrics appointment done

May 29 - EAD and AP status online changed to "Card/Document Production" (EAD) and "Post decision activity" (AP)

June 3 - EAD sent out for delivery

August 2 - Interview Waiver Letter received in mail dated 7/29

Feb 12, 2015 - EAD/AP renewal mailed

Feb 19, 2015 - Got 7 text & 7 emails notification - case received (EAD)
