Just last night got an update for alien registration number change, nonthing ground breaking but at least its another step forward. Hopefully all of our cases go thru quickly (crosses fingers)

09-05-2013 : I-129F received at Dallas lockbox

09-09-2013 : NOA-1

09-23-2013 : Alien Registration number changed

11-12-2013 : NOA-2

12-09-2013 : Shipped to the NVC

12-16-2013 : Received by the NVC

12-18-2013 : Shipped from the NVC

12-19-2013 : Received by the Consulate

12-23-2013 : Packet 3 Sent to Consulate

01-09-2014 : Packet 4 Received from the Consulate

02-12-2014 : Interview (Approved)

02-13-2014 : CEAC - Ready non Immigrant

02-14-2014 : CEAC - AP

02-18-2014 : CEAC - Issued

02-20-2014 : Visa in hand

That is good news! At least you know they are working on it.

I checked and still no update for me even though my package was received a day before yours. Maybe since mine is for the Philippines it needs more scrutiny..

Anyone else have an updated status?

Our packet was received yesterday. I was meant to send it off last Wednesday, but there was due a delay in translating his divorce docs. The first delay of many I'm sure! It seems to be such a toss up right now as to NOA2. Some fast, some slow. We're just expecting it to be very slow, so there is no disappointment.

I got the same notification today; alien registration number changed.....which I don't understand that, no one had a previous "alien registration number" in the first place.

Either way..it was touched!! So here's to good news soon ...for everyone :-)

I am really glad things are happening for you and your visa is being worked on! I would not keep you hopes up for approval within a week. We are all still in the first month..

Yea I was reading through posts about the less than 10 day approvals happening after the number change....but they were posted in 2012?

Very true, every jouerney starts with the first step. And after many steps have been taken we will all look back and think that wasnt so bad. But, while we making those steps is whole different perpesctive.
