Haha... same response from USCIS as usual. Except now they are saying to wait three months to call them instead of 8 weeks. How can it possibly be 3 months to mail a file to NVC? Getting anxiousss......

It sounds like the USCIS just sits their arses on cases before sending them after NOA2 for some reason they're not prepared to explain to anyone They need a overhaul of this entire system. It makes no sense that it takes weeks to send an approved document to another office. It's not like we still using the pony express.

This K1 visa process, the USCIS and the NVC has been quiet an experience. Before I started this whole process I thought that after the NOA2, things were easy. So wrongggg!. September filers, whats more upsetting: A) Wait a few weeks for the important things to happen, i.e background checks completed, alien # assigned and NOA2 issued B) Knowing that nobody is working on your file and is just sitting somewhere waiting for God knows what to happen to get shipped out!!! I dont know, but I am more anxious now than before the NOA2, waiting for a number that will dictate how my next few months will be! Many things are depending on this number right now, a wedding, trip to go to the interview with my fiance , honeymoon, book time off from work. sad.pngsad.pngsad.pngsad.png

This is ridiculous. Its taking about the same amount of time for USCIS to ship to NVC than from NOA1 to NOA2. Disheartening.

dont cry.. sending you good vibes!

Thanks IceBlu, I just feel sad because I was so excited receiving the NOA2 after 42 days as the VJ Timeline said it could vary to even 5months.

This is suppose to be the quicker part of the process and it feels stuck.

I'm counting my tears and the days.. We miss each other so much, our next trip will be too difficult to part at the airport if we don't hear anything soon.

Our Timeline

------------------------------------------------------------------

09/17/2013 - USCIS received our I129F

09/23/2013 - NOA1 Hard Copy

10/11/2013 - Alien Reg # changed

11/04/2013 - USCIS approved 129F

11/12/2013 - NOA2 Hardcopy

Kinda frustrated, see everyone having problems with their NVC and still haven't received our NOA2. In fact, no touch since alien reg number changed on 10/8. So seems like we're pretty far behind in the process compared to everyone else posting lately. Is anyone else in the same boat as us? Will it do any good to call the customer service number and see what's going on?

I-129F Sent - 9/12/13

NOA1 - 9/16/13

Alien Reg # changed - 10/8/13

How do I know if my NOA2 went to the NVC or DOS? I've called NVC and they told me they haven't received my approved NOA2 (like most of us) but how do I know it's not at the DOS? Or is the DOS and the NVC the same thing?

Hello to everyone!

I am new in this forum although I was following it from the moment I found it in google (a couple of weeks ago).

I am from Madrid and my fiance from Fort Worth. We are very frustrated too because we see how cases from the same day as ours are already in post-decisions and many cases filled much more late than ours already got NOA2 a month ago. This is taking so long and we feel so helpless since there is nothing we can do. We not even knew that I cannot go from Spain to spend the Xmas time with him & family in USA and we were so very excited about that. He went to a lawyer a couple of weeks ago and lawyer said that if I try go to USA they will deny me in customs sending me back to Madrid, but even if they will let me in, inmigration will find me and send me out of the country and will ban me to travel to USA and ban asking for any kind of VISA along the next 10 years. That is so frustrating, they treat people like criminals when the only "crime" is being in love and wanting to spend our first Xmas together. That is so unfair.

We filled the I129F in september, we got the NOA1 the day 23 of september and 17 of october the alien number. No more news from then. This way we won´t be able to spend together no Xmas, no St. Valentine... and we wanted to get married in march the day of our anniversary but all is going so slow that I guess we won´t be able to make true that dream either... and reading the last posts about that after NOA2 things are not esier or faster, that does not cheer up either. I truly cannot understand how living in the computers and internet era all this goes so slow. How can the case last 8 weeks to be sent to the foreign country? Are they sending it in donkeys?

I am sure that if just a single person who made all this laws and burocracy about K1 would have to pass by the same, this would be much different. The problem is that nobody cares about the other persons, they treat us like cases and not like in love couples who cannot wait to get married and start their lifes together.
