Thanks Raygina,

No further update for us since receiving NOA2 in the first week for November.

We will have to call this week to find out the information on our case number.

Is It only the petitioner that can call the NVC for the information or can the beneficiary do it as well?

So, I called USCIS yesterday to see if it had been sent since 2 weeks seems to me like more than enough time for a shipment from one US location to another, and the USCIS told me that if I had NOA2 then it "will" be sent which is pretty vague language.

hey! Luchiniski. We also got approved on the 14th of Nov. I called uscis to know why it has not be mailed to NVC yet and they told me that the waitiing time is one month. Then I wonder when has uscis started holding back approved application for a month before sending to NVC?. Well I think we have gone half way. Fingers crossed. Wishing all VJs well.

Your case left 5 days ago? How did you get USCIS to tell you when it was sent? All I can get them to tell me is to wait 8 weeks from NOA2, (Nov 7 in my case), and then call again. They wouldn't say when it was sent...

They told us the same thing when we call them after receiving the NOA2. Then we called them last Monday they said it has been sent to NVC what we confirmed the same day from NVC, we did really have the actual date it left USCIS...

For your case you may call them next week, i hope there be progress...

for anyone who is still waiting for their case number. I read somewhere that it depends on country and/or individual cases. Some cases will wait at NVC for months and others will be sent out within weeks. So you really can't compare. Good luck everyone! wub.png
