hello everyone , i have question , how will i know if NVC Received or not , and when and was left. i called last morning and asked when they gonna send it to NVC they said they do not know, if there is something wrong with ur file they will mail me letter or some like that. thank you for ur help in advanced ...

TCS usually will update your case when your case has shipped to NVC.

To find out when NVC receives it and sends it out you have to call NVC and ask for your case number.

I called NVC today and was told that they have received my file. They said that it will take 10-20 business days to upload and then I can get a case number.

NOA2 = 10/30

NVC Received = 11/25

Case Number Received = ???

My petition has been approved! My NOA2 email came through today a little over an hour ago. Happy Thanksgiving to us!

My I-129f was approved in 63 days from my NOA1 date.

21 Sep 2013 - Filed i-129F

27 Nov - NOA2 email received (63 days since NOA1)

30 Jan 2014 - NOA2 sent to NVC (64 agonizing days) P.S. Apparently VJ doesn't care about accurate timelines.

11 Feb - Got Case number

24 Feb - Packet 3 Received and Submitted

25 Feb - Packet 4 Received and Submitted

29 Apr - Medical (Dr Cheema)

01 May - Vancouver Consulate Interview - Approved!

06 May - Visa in hand!

06 June - Entered the USA!

14 June - Married!

My petition has been approved! My NOA2 email came through today a little over an hour ago. Happy Thanksgiving to us!

My I-129f was approved in 63 days from my NOA1 date.

Congratulations!

I called NVC today and was told that they have received my file. They said that it will take 10-20 business days to upload and then I can get a case number.

NOA2 = 10/30

NVC Received = 11/25

Case Number Received = ???

Hoping we will receive our case number next week :)

I do not understand. What is the significance of the case number? Also, when i read the NOA2, it seems to say the case has been sent to the consulate...Why does it not say that the case has been sent to NVC? It also says to contact the consulate if we have questions about visa issuance. "The above petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate" There is no mention of NVC. Is that normal? Am i supposed to assume it has been first sent to the NVC?

Yeah my NOA2 said the same thing, that it was sent to the consulate, but all the petitions go to the NVC first to be assigned a case number (I call them and they verified this). The case number is key to being able to schedule your interview. After you get the case number, the beneficiary can pay the interview fee and then schedule their interview.

K-1 Visa

Oct 1st, 2013 – Mailed in I-129F Package to Dallas Lockbox.

Oct 4th, 2013 – Package Delivered.

Oct 9th, 2013 - NOA1 Text and Email

Oct 15th, 2013 - NOA1 Hardcopy received in mail. Notice date on hardcopy says October 8th.

Nov 13th, 2013 - NOA2 - update on USCIS website

Dec 9th, 2013 - Petition received at NVC

Dec 11th, 2013 - Petition sent to Manila

Dec 19th, 2013 - Embassy receives petition

Dec 29th-Jan 8th-Our first New Year's together.

Feb 23rd- Fly to Manila to be with Ema for the interview.

Feb 27th, 2014 - Interview scheduled. We were APPROVED dancin5hr.gif

Feb 28th, 2014 - Ema does CFO- Passes with flying colors.

Mar 6th, 2014 - Visa in hand and ready to fly home.

Mar 14th, 2014 - POE Los Angeles

Apr 17th, 2014 - Our Wedding date. (L)

Anybody recieved word that their petition has arrived at the NVC yet? We are still waiting on ours...
