I am so happy to see all of the approvals! For those of you still waiting, I am sure you will be hearing something soon.

My fiancé Annie is going for her medical exam this week. I will let you know the results. Wish us luck.

First time posting, but, our petition made it to the consulate in London today!

Congratulations!!! Looks like we are left behind from TSC :(NVC have not received our case until now.

I-129F NOA2 : October 24, 2013 (per USCIS portal)

USCIS shipping date to NVC/DOS: November 25, 2013

NVC Received/Assigned Case number : December 3, 2013

NVC Left : December 4, 2013

US Embassy ( Manila)- December 6, 2013

Medical Exam: December 17, 2013 ( PASSED)

Interview Date : January 6, 2014
Interview Result: APPROVED!!!!

I got my NOA2 in the mail....now what?!?!?

Now that you have your NOA-2, the application will go to the NVC (which can take up to 8 weeks, so be ready to wait). The NVC will assign you a case number and then forward it to your consulate. Once the consulate gets your application, they will send you another stack of paperwork (Packet 3) which includes the DS-160.

07/19/2011 - Met while we were both working in Kuwait

03/18/2013 - I left Kuwait at the end of my contract and returned to the States

07/19/2013 - Got engaged!

09/24/2013 - Mailed in the I-129F packet to TSC

10/01/2013 - Received NOA-1

11/05/2013 - Received NOA-2

12/02/2013 - NVC receives the paperwork

12/03/2013 - Case number assigned

12/06/2013 - Case shipped to embassy

12/29/2013 - Case received by embassy

01/02/2014 - Interview scheduled for January 15th

01/07/2014 - Medical exam

01/11/2014 - Interview pushed back to January 22nd

01/22/2014 - Had the interview, was put into AP pending more documentation

01/26/2014 - Visa approved!

03/18/2014 - She entered USA

04/04/2014 - Married!

05/01/2014 - Filed AOS

05/09/2014 - AOS NOA

06/05/2014 - RFE for tax returns I didn't have when we filed

Yes, because you'll need your case number to fill it out. But what you can do in the meantime is take a look at the K1 Guide section "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):" and get all that paperwork assembled and sent over.

This is unfair our NOA2 date is after previous posters NOA2 date at teh same service centre yet our hasnt even left 20 days later

Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

Is DOS the same thing as NVC ? huh2.gif

TSC shipped it to NVC, same as DoS. I got the same message 12th November. NVC rec'd the file yesterday, I got the case number this morning from the DoS number and the file was shipped to London today.
