I did everything on my own as well and this gets me worried too. I have checked numbers around me and 4 out of 7 have got RFE, while remaining 3 including us are waiting for update. This makes me nervous!

Don't worry happyfuture24. Just be strong. I know how you feel. I am also waiting. I filed on the 4th sept. Until 24th oct when they sent me a rfe that I didn't check the criminal part of I-129f form. Well I got it and sent it back to them and my rfe is in review. Still waiting for them for approval.

I guess it's a good thing we haven't gotten a RFE or it could mean no one has looked at our application. I don't know what to think anymore I just don't want my application to get lost.

Im guessing because it was veteran's day yesterday that's why there was no approval.

It's always never the same with USCIS. At the same service center some relatively straight forward petitions gather dust while others are approved with lightening speed. We were expecting an 8 month wait and had LOOSELY planned an arrival in the US in late May. Despite our fast petition approval, it may still be May... London is experiencing some "growing pains" with the implementation of an electronic system. They've changed the process only to change it again and then maybe again. People are waiting 4-8 weeks AFTER all of the information is received (many have had their info "lost") to assign appointments and then those appointments may be the next week or in 5-6 weeks! On top of this, some people have nearly missed or completely missed their interviews because they never received their appointment letters!

I'm not going to tell any of you to relax or be patient as it's almost an insult at this point. I have no patience and I'll relax when it's over! We're all in the same boat in one way or the other. In the mean time, I'll respond with kind support to the rants, fears and frustrations of my fellow immigration hedge-maze dwellers. Someday, this thread will be old and gray and we'll all have finally moved on with normal lives.

I'm finished being sentimental for now...Ha!

Congratulations!

Just called this morning to the NVC and got our MNL case number, the lady kindy informed us that our case was already sent to Manila on November 7th (Filed on Sept 5, NOA 2 on Oct 3)....things are going really fast!!

Case status is ready for interview....waiting to be scheduled.... Question.... Do I have to pay visa fee first to have a scheduled interview or I wait for the embassy?

Regards...

I can't remember, did you try calling NVC BEFORE you got the email update from USCIS that your case had been shipped?
