Our NOA1 was dated 01-Oct-2013 but I follow the September Filers forum because we sent out our package in and was received at the Dallas Lockbox late September.

Just to give you guys what the numbers look like for filers in the same boat as my fiancée and I are, attached are some screen caps of the Timeline Search that I did with the following filters:

Visa Type : [K1], Service Center : [All], Beneficiaries Country : [All], Consulate/Embassy : [All], I129F NOA 1 After 2013-09-25, I129F NOA 1 Before 2013-10-05, Local Office : [All]

This means that of the 46 filers who meet these parameters, 26% (twelve) have gotten their NOA2 applications. Nine were sent to CSC with an average rate of 25 days from NOA1 to NOA2; the other three were sent to TSC with an average rate of 27 days.

For those of us still waiting for NOA2, hang in there. Hopefully, we get it soon.

Good luck everyone! smile.png

We received our NOA1 email on September 27.

Yesterday, I checked our Case Status on USCIS and saw this scary message:

On October 24, 2013, the post office returned your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) as undeliverable. If you do not contact us at 1-800-375-5283 within 180 days from October 24, 2013, this document will be destroyed and you will need to file a new application with fee.

My dad, who has been receiving my mail, just told me the NOA2 (dated October 16) was redelivered after being sent to my previous address, returned to USCIS, and re-sent to the correct address. All without action from me. I will call USCIS to see what's going on.

I was expecting at least a five month wait, but approval in 21 days??? luv.gif

Congratulations to everyone! It seems like the timelines have been accelerated for everyone. I am very thankful for that! I am still waiting for my case number from the NVC. I can not do much until then...

Best of luck to everyone! I am rooting for you!!!

My first post to this forum. I found this site after I filed our I-129F, but have been reading up on the site ever since I found it. Definitely on pins and needles waiting for the NOA2. Initial filing 9/12/13, NOA1 9/17/13, alien registration number changed 10/8/13. Radio silence ever since. So hoping to hear something soon. My fiancée is coming again to visit 12/8 for another month, so looking forward to seeing her as we haven't had time together since August. Kind of hoping that things work out that approvals go through and maybe we can do our interview together here in the US. But frankly, we'll take the process as it comes and are just hoping that it's not too much longer before we can be together full time and start our lives together.

Good luck to you all.

Do not get discouraged, I am in the same boat with you. Be thankful out petitions got approved so soon. The two weeks it normally takes to go from NOA2 to the NVC is ok. Look at the timeline of others from then to visa. It is all good!!

I don't think you can do the interview in the US, it has to be in the Philippines. Also I am curious how you got your fiancée to be able to come here to the US? My fiancée tried to get a tourist visa but was denied. Also if they know you are trying to get a fiancé visa it makes it harder to get a tourist visa.

We got NOA2 33 days after NOA1 and 11 days after the A#. I searched SRC #'s near mine to see what was going on. In a batch of 53 I-129f petitions, half are RFE and the other half were approved from 25/10-30/10. 2 are still awaiting A #'s. Have you searched SRC #'s near yours?

I've been following the same-sex thread and am cheering loudly from Texas! I',m hoping yours comes soon!!!

This is confusing. If she had a tourist visa she could have come over. Marry after 60 or so days and file AOS. Does she have a visa to enter the US?

As for the interview, it has to be done overseas for the K-1. My philly fiancee is currently working in Israel and confirmed it would be ok to do the interview in Jerusalem. However, the interview has to be done away. She shouldn't enter the US while her petition is waiting. As for the interview 90% of them have to be done alone. The exclusion is if you have kids you can bring them along if they are immigrating with you.

Filled AOS/AP/EAD: 2014-04-09

Thanks for the info. She has been able to travel here because she already has a 10 year multiple entry tourist visa. So she's been able to come and spend time with me as our relationship has grown, which has been great. When she came this summer to visit for a month, she did get extra questions at the border and immigration also called me to corroborate. They wanted to know why we weren't just getting married and doing an AOS and we told them that we were trying to do every thing right. For her to enter on a tourist visa for the purpose of getting married would violate the tourist visa requirements and we told them that we were in the process of applying for a fiancee visa and wouldn't be getting married until that was approved. The immigration offical seemed very pleased that we understood the rules and policies and were following them to the letter. With that, they let her enter with her daughter and we had a great month together during the summer. When she comes in December, she'll have all of the paperwork with her to provide the backup that we're following the proper process and I don't expect that they'll give her any trouble. It helps that she has businesses in the Philippines as well as other committments that help prove that she plans on returning. So we've continued to believe that if we do everything on the up and up and follow the process and rules that we won't have any issues, which so far has proven true.
