Yeah, youre right. I really have no right to moan or complain. Ive been a dual US/UK citizen since birth, so at least we've been able to live together in the UK during this whole process. I really feel for those who have had no choice but to be separated. It must be awful. Fingers crossed we all get some good news soon. My PD is September 20 so I guess I wont hear anything for a couple of weeks... And then another period of waiting and hoping begins.

Being homesick can be a drain on the heart too I'm sure!

I myself am in a separated situation. It sure has helped us work on our communication skills LOL

I hope so. Ive been checking email so often, my ipad is suffering from a nervous breakdown smile.png I really wish I'd gone down the consular processing route. It seems much faster, but stupidly I sent my I-130 to the USCIS. I should have just applied the embassy, and then applied for a K3. But as I said, at least we are together, and not being subjected to a forced separation like many people.

haha, I think we are all guilty of that, and I wish I could've waited through this process with my hubby, but alas, you also have to rememeber that it would probably be harder for you if you've always been together from the start and then had a separation as opposed to a lot of us who are "used to" being apart from our SOs.

I hate to say it, but I cant even claim homesickness. I moved to the UK with my family when I was 5 (which was in 1971), and apart from a year I spent in America in the late 80s, I have no real experience of living in America. I have no family there anymore, and only a handful of friends, none of which are in Florida (which is where we will be moving to) so this is a totally fresh start for us both. But it has always been my biggest desire/need to move back to America, even after all these years, and Im staring 50 in the face, so its very much a case of 'now or never'. We have only been married since last August, but we have lived together for nearly 17 years, and we both feel the time is right. I really wish you all the happiest of outcomes... moving to a new country and starting a new life can be amazingly frightening, but I wish all of you the very best of everything.
