July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

That means a lot. smile.png We're all in the struggle together and there may be moments where we forget why we're doing it, but looking at the life we'll have with our loved ones compared to one without them ... it's worth waiting tenfold what we have to now. That's why I'll never give up. I hope no one else here does either.

Hi Kath,

If you've already submitted evidence of employment, etc. to NVC, there is a good chance that they will not ask for more evidence. What I mean to tell you is that the proof has already been submitted and the interview will probably focus on other things. I think that unless you share that information, they will not know it. I'm sure he is going to find another job asap to support you and him. In this case, unless they ask, I would not tell. Know what I mean? I don't think it's something you should bring up unless you're asked. At my husband's interview, they did not ask anything like this. But, remember, you're in another type of visa category. We're a spousal visa, you're a fiancé one. It's slightly different. But, I'd imagine the interviews must be fairly similar. Hope this helps and I am so sorry about your husband losing his job. That is scary, especially with a marriage coming soon. Just try to make it through and encourage your husband to find work ASAP (and not be too picky with his job search, for now. He can keep looking.)

Thank you so much for this response... I know that's what I thought too but, I'm just so worried if the consulate will look at my affidavit of support then they can't find an income. And we don't want to lie about it. It was just so sad is because why now that my interview will be so soon already. We really don't know what to do. And now my Fiance has no sleep coz of looking for job now. Fiance also has required amount for salary so we are looking the right one though a little less. Huhuhu....

Technically, we're on the October forum, but I'm following along. My husband is living here in Canada with me. He's a dual citizen (born in Canada to USC parents who were working here). We're frustrated by the long process, and feeling like our lives are in a holding patter but I can't even imagine having to go through all this without him!

Yes, I could not imagine going through this process without my husband but we actually lived apart for almost 3 years before I moved with him so I can feel the pain of others here in this forum. I wasn't sure if I was one of the only ones living abroad with my spouse going through this process. :)
