September 2013 I-130 Filers

We filed in September and I just looked at my timeline and my adjudication date has changed from November to February. Any idea why this huge change would have happened?

You probably entered something incorrect in your timeline. There is no way it could have been November. I am March filer and my timeline is showing November as my adjudication month.

My NOA1 came from Overland Park, KS (NBC/MSC) and my timeline gives me an estimate of April 26, 2014-May26, 2014. :/ Thank God that I am living with my spouse during this process.

Gelei21, you can access it from two places (that I know of). One way to access your timelines is to go to the very top of the Visa Journey page, click on your username, and choose "My Timeline" from one of the 8 options. The other way to access your timeline is within the forum. The left of everyone's comments is where it says who is making each comment. Below the person's picture, it says "Group, Joined, City, State, Filed for, Filing Location, Local Office, Country, and then says Timeline and Photos. Just simply go to one of the comments you made and click on your timeline.

Whichever option you choose, you will have to input your data and all of the dates that you have so far. These dates include things like when you sent your I-130 application and when you received your first NOA (Notice of Action).

Last week of October. I have not seen any November filers yet.

I wonder what is NBC planning on doing with our files then? Will they keep them or transfer them? and when?

I really do not believe in Overland Park anymore. Not saying it doesn't exist. Just doubt our files are there.

Thx Blueberry for keeping up with the game and keep us informed, so what do you think would be best for us (September Filers) to happen ??? to stay on Lee Summit or get transfer to Nebraska ?? any ideas on waiting times from both places??

Haven't checked my Timeline in a while but feeling a bit lonely as my hubby has just flown back to the States after a 5 day visit, so thought I would come on here in the hope of a little bit of good news, so I see this at the bottom of my timeline:-

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between December 18, 2013 and January 31, 2014*.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

What does that mean? Is that the date that they might start looking at it?

The timeline on VJ is for entertainment pruposes only. Its based on the entries . You can't really take it to heart because it depends on those who enter the info. Many people start a timeline and never come back to update it as they progress. When I first filed back in April, my timeline said I would be ajuducated sometime in July. Now it says November 9th to December 8th. If things were normal, you might be able to rely a little bit on the info but for now, its just for fun. ( especially with all the transfers going on )

This waiting game has to be the most daunting experience for newly married couple. It has been little over 2 months since I applied, unless some magic happens between now and the new year, I don't anticipate September filers to get approved until March-Apr of next year (that if we are lucky). Good thing is I am seeing my wife again in about a month.

I filed both... Recv'd NOA1 for both, figured might as well we have nothing but time. The more the merrier if I could file the I130 a million times to get it any kind of attention I would. Lol!!!

Your timeline says Texas Service Center. Is that where your NOA1 came from?

It doesn't look good, IMHO.

NBC (I believe all OverlandParkers' files are at Lee's Summit... ) might ship out all stand-alone I-130s.

We shall see.

Ok, yeah I see that now, I guess I didn't update that bit after we received the NOA1. Now it's reading April/May, that would make more sense!
