Oh God, I so hope you guys can get out of there asap, Luv. You're in my prayers...

I don't have children but used to work as a nanny tongue.png 3-year-olds don't nap! Haha that's all there is to it.

It's a power struggle. They start showing they have their say too...

Such a cute age though smile.png

Ugh. Keep trying! I so want you to get your case number already! smile.png

So, I just saw yet another 20 day I-129f approval. Ironically (?) this person is from Overland Park, KS. Ha.

The petition was processed at CSC, though.

I am just exasperated.

Blueberry, 3 years olds really don't stop. He's a good sleeper usually, at night..but that boy can GO...and go...and go... LOL. If you were a Nanny, you know!!! dancin5hr.gif

Those are the fiance visas that are still going through the quick turnaround because they applied through the end of September. Remember I was telling you about that article I read? They will be slowing down soon. Unfortunately for them... but, another one at CSC, huh? Do they also go to NVC or not? Just wondering how their process goes...

It's just unbelievable. Un-f'ing-believable.

At least you can consider moving to Poland.. My husband wouldn't be able to move here sad.png

Why can't he move there? sad.png

Well, that's Poland for ya ranting33va.gif

So, K-3 or not?! Can't decide! headbonk.gif

K-3?

I think I'm getting a cold or flu. It actually feels like the flu which sucks coz I got the flu shot. sad.png Just my luck. Nothing still from NVC. At least it's my weekend and I'm off tomorrow...I can sleep...

It's terrible how fast the K-1s are being processed.

I can't move there because my wife is pregnant and unemployed. They won't let me in if she doesn't have a job and I need to keep my job over here to pay for our family when she finally gets here. I also have too much student loan debt that needs to be paid each month to not have a job to pay for it. If that makes sense.

Oh I do understand that scenario. I have some student loan debt still hanging around right now, myself. Had put it off when I bought my first, then second house. Just never got it paid off. That's on the to-do in the next couple of years. So I do get it. I will say...it's a good plan to keep your job for when the baby arrives..and even though being apart is hard, if you can currently save some extra $$$, you'll be so glad when the baby comes. Maybe, on the plus side...if the baby is born in Poland, the medical costs might be tons cheaper than here...unless you have great insurance here! I have great insurance and the co-pays are still much more than anything they pay in Europe...

I'll be saving a little money, but most of it will be going to pay off all of my student loans and car loan early so we won't have a huge debt on our hands when my wife and baby are finally here as one big happy family. We will in fact save money because the birth will be in Poland, which is obviously a lot cheaper than over here. My insurance wouldn't cover much of the birth here because it's catastrophic and I pay a very low premium each month in order to save money for other things, like my student loans.

By the way, do you know yet if it's a boy or girl?

No, we don't know and don't want to know. Although, I'd like a healthy baby first and a boy second. yes.gif haha

That's smart though and better in the long run. I think you're doing the right thing. And definitely better that your baby being born there will be costing a lot less. When my nephew was born last year, my brother got bills within 1 week for over $20,000...granted, his insurance picked up most of that...but he was still left with several grant in co-pays. That's with amazingly good insurance. It's kind of astonishing what "good" insurance doesn't even pick up anymore.

Ok...if you don't know, I feel ok saying "it." Didn't know if "it" had been already identified as a s/he. LOL! Boys are really really cool. I love having a boy! But, I think girls are adorable too. I think I was supposed to be a boy-mamma...first time, anyway. Don't know if there will be another one, so I'm happy with my boy! I did ask my hubby the other day though if he would be willing to adopt in the future. We'll see... You will love being a dad.

Laurel Scott (an immigration attorney) just posted this in her FB (+comments)

Just got confirmation at the conference that stand-alone I-130s (i.e. not with an I-485) stopped being sent to local USCIS offices several weeks ago. The local offices are trying to finish up their remaining stand-alone I-130s in the next few weeks. Unlike · Share · 38 minutes ago via mobile ·

Now question is... were OP files transferred too? :(

6 months or less sure sounds sweet after following what's been happening to the filers from 6 to 10 months ago

I sure hope she knows what she's talking about.
