From what has happened to others in this group, approval after they receive the RFE is about a week?

I hope it's soon, I'm thinking positive thoughts!!!!

I am getting a bit worried about what is going on with the approval. It is over 3 weeks already, still no news from NSC. Do I need to do something or is it still within the normal time frame?

Please advise me. Our plan is to have our kids in school for the next school year at this rate this looks impossible, but we need to know how much longer we have.

Have you called USCIS? I would call and ask to speak with a Tier 2 representative as soon as possible. I've been waiting for your word back and this is a really long time :-(

It may be time to contact your Senator or Representative and ask for assistance.

I paid the AOS fee and NVC received my AOS docs. I received my invoice today to pay the IV fee and I still cannot pay it online. It says 0. I swear I cannot believe what we have to go through with this process. I believe they are putting us through some kind of cruel test. This don't make no sense.

Hi guys - I'm not sure if this thread is dead or not, but I've had an email asking me to update my timeline, and I'm not sure I can. We have changed from consular processing to adjustment of status, and we just received the NOA1 from the Nebraska office. So technically I'm still a September 2013 filer (the adjustment of status application has a September 2013 priority date, in spite of being filed in August 2014) but we're no longer going to be using consular processing, and I can't see a way to change that much detail in my timeline.

In terms of your timeline, Captain Ewok is the main dude of this site. You could ask him, or a mod will hopefully see this and let you know what to do :-)

thanks, me too We got as far as affidavit of support with NVC, then after a lot of thinking and taking everything to account, we decided to go down the adjustment route. We've both been in Florida since June and now we are waiting for the biometrics appointment date, and then the interview. Looking at the timelines, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an approval in time for Christmas, but I'm probably being a little optimistic :-/

Well, thought I'd let ya'll know that we finally had our interview today and Vladi passed just fine. It took three hours and he was approved. It was a long 13 months. Probably would've been less time had I not messed up the AOS form twice. NVC approved it anyway and told us to bring an updated AOS to the interview which the consulate never requested ;-/ ugh.... anyway.. I hope he'll be here the weekend before thanksgiving.
