I know you passed through checklist response process. Can you help me on the following question? Thanks!

Through calling to NVC, I found out that they generated checklist for an error on AOS (I-864 form) and they explained me the error over the phone. However, I didn't get an email from them which will describe the checklist instruction. To save some time, I was thinking to send them back the corrected version of I-864 form including the cover sheet. My question to all of you is: Is there specific format to follow when we send them a response to checklist? I will appreciate if someone who passed through checklist process walk me through the contents of the checklist instruction letter. I also believe that the checklist instruction doesn't need to be sent back to them. Thanks a lot for your help!

If it's false, nothing.

You only need to post your (NVC) questions in the NVC thread. You don't have to post them in multiple threads :-)

You need to wait for the email as it has a barcoded cover page that goes back with the amended form, it didn't take long for our email to come through so I'd just give it a little time. As for false checklists, if you know it's false then you can ignore it.

I got my receipt number on Sept 27, 2013. Currently waiting for them to receive AOS packet, plus waiting for IV invoice to appear as they sent me an email saying that my DS-261 was reviewed.

Hello, I sent my AOS package 27th of May and NVC received it on 28th of May as per USPS. I don't know for some reason they havent entered in the system and my IV fee is not available to be paid it as I paid my AOS fee on 20th of May and Its status showed paid on 23rd of May. Does it take that long for IV bill to show up online?

Update:- Just called NVC and they told me that they received the AOS Package on 2nd of June and they will Generate the IV bill after they review my DS-261 form which they havent yet and was submitted on 21st of May. God knows what the hell is going on with NVC.

I recommend checking out the NVC thread. It does move pretty fast, but you're able to get answers to your questions over there from people who are familiar with the NVC process!

I completed the DS-261 on May 21 as well. It takes like 15 days for them to review it and then they send the IV fee although people have been lucky and it was sent to them days after. I received not one BUT TWO emails from NVC saying that they reviewed my DS-261 that they will send the designated agent the IV fee. I checked the website and the fee does not show up, for weeks I have seen PAY NOW IV FEE when I click on it, I am transfer but it just shows the AOS fee as paid AND the IV FEE area is BLANK. MY AOS package was delivered today at 11:13 AM, so I am expecting for them to tell me that they have it in their possession next week obviously since today is already Friday.

I feel like is a GLITCH in their system. I am going to give it till next week before I call or email them.

We just completed our DS-261, after waiting 8 days since receiving our case number! When logging in to the payment portal, we get the error message that the case is in process of termination, so hopefully our AOS fee will be invoiced soon!!

They told us 15 business days after it is put on the system, you need to call them to make sure they received it and that it is showing on their system.

Thanks again! According to USPS it is delivered to them but when I checked with NVC, they told me that it is not yet shown on their system. Do you know how long it will take to be shown in their system?

I think it was a few days before ours showed up.
